Stairlift Service Across Adams County

Adams County, CO

Northglenn's homes trace back to Perl-Mack's 1959 master plan — Life magazine's "Most Perfectly Planned Community" in 1961. The original Perl-Mack brick ranches near 104th and Huron have straight staircases with hardwood treads — standard straight-rail installs, about 3 hours. Deza Estates, a 29-home mid-century modern enclave along Lunceford Lane and W 99th Avenue, has custom split-levels where curved rails handle the 90-degree landing turn. Fox Run, the largest subdivision, mixes ranches and two-stories on concrete slabs. Webster Lake Terrace near Croke Reservoir has split-levels where outdoor porch lifts serve aging residents. Huron Crossing and Park Vista round out the core with compact brick ranches — tight hallways, narrow straight-rail fits.

Straight

Fox Run Ranch — Straight Rail on Hardwood

Fox Run, CO Installed February 2026

Classic Perl-Mack brick ranch in Fox Run with original 1964 oak treads. The daughter called after her mother fell on the basement stairs. Luis installed a 14-foot straight rail bolted directly into the hardwood treads — no wall anchors needed. The cream seat parks at the bottom landing and folds away when not in use. From assessment to finished install ran four days.

Deza Estates Split-Level — Curved Rail at Upper Landing

Deza Estates, CO Installed January 2026

A 1958 mid-century modern split-level on Lunceford Lane with a 90-degree turn at the upper landing. Luis laser-measured the curve on site and had the rail factory-bent to match the exact geometry. The brown seat parks at the top floor near the chandelier-lit hallway. Four rail sections went together in about five hours — no drywall cuts anywhere, modern lines kept intact.

Park Vista Compact Ranch — Stone Treads, Tight Fit

Park Vista, CO Installed March 2026

A compact 1965 ranch in Park Vista with stone-tile treads and a narrow staircase, 30 inches wide. The brown seat at the bottom sits beside a wooden sideboard in the entryway. Luis used shorter rail brackets to clear the wall and bolted through the stone with carbide-tipped bits. The seat folds to 14 inches when parked, leaving the stairway passable for the rest of the family.

Webster Lake Terrace — Outdoor Porch Lift, Freeze-Thaw Tested

Webster Lake Terrace, CO Installed October 2025

A split-level near Croke Reservoir with four stone-paved porch steps leading to the front door. The homeowner's wife uses a walker and could no longer manage the entry. Luis installed an IP55-rated outdoor lift with marine-grade upholstery, bolted into the stone before winter. It rode through more than 20 freeze-thaw cycles and several snowstorms without skipping a cycle.

Huron Crossing Brick Ranch — Carpeted Stairs, Clean Install

Huron Crossing, CO Installed April 2026

A 1963 brick ranch in Huron Crossing with wall-to-wall carpet on the stairs. The brown seat blends with the tan carpet tones, and the rail ends at the tiled-floor landing. Luis bolted the rail brackets through the carpet directly into the oak treads beneath — the fibers reseal around each bracket so the mounts barely show. The homeowner's parents moved in the following week.

Platform Lift

Homestead Townhome — Indoor Wheelchair Platform Lift

Homestead, CO Installed November 2025

An early-2000s townhome in the Homestead at Seven Stones neighborhood with a wheelchair user on the main floor. Luis installed an inclined platform lift that carries a wheelchair up to 600 lb on a flat black deck with yellow safety edges and a white handrail, indoor use only. He mounted the rail to the treads with reinforced brackets, and the platform folds up when parked. It gave the Bennetts full two-floor access.

Common Questions

Everything Northglenn Homeowners Actually Ask

Straight answers about cost, installation, and funding — no sales fluff. Browse by topic or call us if you have a question that isn't here.

How much does a stairlift cost in Northglenn?

A straight stairlift for a typical Northglenn brick ranch starts at $2,800, including installation. Curved lifts for split-levels and tri-levels start at $9,000 — the custom rail is bent to your exact stair turn after a one-hour laser measurement on site. Outdoor lifts for porch steps start at $4,000. Heavy-duty models that carry up to 600 lb start at $5,050. All prices include the rail, seat, installation, and a 5-year warranty. The free in-home assessment gives you an exact quote before any commitment.

Does the $2,800 price include installation in Northglenn?

Yes. The $2,800 straight-lift price covers the rail, seat, battery backup, and full installation by Luis and his team. Most Northglenn installs take about 3 hours — the rail bolts to the stair treads, not the walls, so there's no drywall repair afterward. You get a firm price at the assessment, not an estimate that climbs later.

Are there any hidden fees for Northglenn homes?

No. The price you get at the free in-home assessment is the price you pay. It includes delivery, installation, the battery backup, and the 5-year warranty. Older Perl-Mack ranches sometimes have narrower staircases, but the standard rail fits tread widths down to 28 inches — no upcharge for a compact fit.

What financing options are available in Northglenn?

Financing starts at $79/month with approved credit. There's no prepayment penalty, and most approvals come through same-day. For Colorado residents who qualify, the state's Home Modification Tax Credit can offset up to $5,000 of installation costs as a non-refundable state income tax credit — separate from financing. The EBD Waiver through Health First Colorado may also cover the full cost for Medicaid-eligible residents.

A word from Luis

Northglenn's housing stock is about 90% original Perl-Mack construction from the 1960s — brick ranches and split-levels. I've installed lifts in Fox Run, Deza Estates, Webster Lake Terrace, and every neighborhood in between. The split-levels in Deza Estates along Lunceford Lane almost always need a curved rail because of that 90-degree turn at the landing, but the brick ranches off Huron Street are textbook straight-rail jobs — bolt to the hardwood treads and you're done in under three hours.

The biggest thing Northglenn homeowners worry about is whether the rail will damage their walls. It won't. We bolt to the stair treads, not the drywall. Your 1962 brick ranch looks exactly the same when we leave, except now there's a lift on the stairs.

Your Next Step

Ready to get started? It's simple.

Northglenn's 1960s homes were built to last — solid brick construction, hardwood treads, concrete slab foundations. But those same stairs that worked fine in 1962 become the number-one barrier for aging in place. A stairlift changes that overnight.

Luis Ramírez has installed lifts in nearly every Northglenn neighborhood — from the mid-century moderns in Deza Estates to the compact ranches in Huron Crossing. Call or fill out the form for a free in-home assessment. No pressure, just clear answers about what fits your stairs and what it costs.
