Stairlift Service Across Davidson County

Davidson County, TN

From the 1860s brick row houses in Germantown — where Metro Historic Zoning Commission review applies to exterior-visible modifications — to the 1920s craftsman bungalows of Belmont-Hillsboro and 12 South, our team has mapped every neighborhood in Davidson County. We know which Donelson and Hermitage subdivisions have the postwar split-level landing that only works with a curved rail, which East Nashville streets have century-old treads with modern additions, and which Belle Meade estates need color-matched rail finishes for formal entry halls. We also staff dedicated coverage for Brentwood, Goodlettsville, Hendersonville, and Mt. Juliet — so you never wait on a tech driving from Murfreesboro.

Belmont-Hillsboro craftsman — straight rail color-matched to original poplar

Belmont-Hillsboro, TN Installed March 2026

A 1924 craftsman bungalow in Belmont-Hillsboro with original poplar banisters and quartersawn oak treads the family had maintained for a century. Mrs. Henderson’s first sentence on the phone was ‘if you touch my grandmother’s banister, you’re out.’ Luis brought finish samples to the first visit, color-matched the rail to the existing poplar grain, and bolted the track into the stair treads without touching a single spindle. The slim-profile rail parks flush at the upper landing. Her neighbor across the street — also in a 1920s craftsman — called us the following week.

Donelson split-level — single curved rail past the 90° mid-landing

Donelson, TN Installed February 2026

A 1965 split-level in Donelson — the most common staircase we measure east of the Nashville airport. Six steps from the foyer to the main living level, a mid-landing with a 90° turn, then eight more steps to the bedrooms. Every company Mrs. Yarborough called quoted two separate lifts with a manual transfer at the landing. Luis laser-scanned the full run during the first visit, fabricated a single curved rail that carries you from the foyer to the bedrooms in one continuous ride, and added a swivel-exit seat at the upper landing so she steps off onto the hallway floor. She uses it a dozen times a day. One ride, zero transfers.

Germantown row house — brown seat beside the hallway sideboard on stone treads

Germantown, TN Installed January 2026

An 1870s brick row house in Nashville’s Germantown neighborhood with original stone-tile treads and a wooden sideboard at the base of the staircase that Mr. Brewer inherited from his grandmother. The interior install fell outside Metro Historic Zoning jurisdiction. Luis mounted the brown-upholstered seat on the compact-profile rail, positioned the lower park point so the folded chair clears the sideboard by three inches, and drilled masonry anchors into the stone treads rated for the full 600 lb capacity. The cottage-scale stairway kept its character. Mr. Brewer’s daughter said the lift looks like it belongs in the house.

Hermitage raised porch — cream outdoor seat on stone-paved entry steps

Hermitage, TN Installed November 2025

A 1970s ranch in Hermitage with a raised front porch, stone-paved entry, and seven exterior steps that collect ice and leaf debris year-round. Mr. Patel is a retired Army veteran who qualified for a HISA grant through the Nashville VA campus at 1310 24th Ave S. We installed the cream-colored weather-resistant seat on a hot-dip galvanized rail anchored into the stone paving, added a weather hood over the joystick, and fitted the cold-weather battery rated for Tennessee ice storms. The VA processed his HISA grant in four weeks. He rides it from the stone walkway to his covered porch entry every day without worrying about the steps.

East Nashville tall-and-skinny — brown seat on carpeted stairs at the landing

East Nashville, TN Installed December 2025

A 2016-era tall-and-skinny in East Nashville with carpeted stairs between the second and third floors and a small landing at the turn. The brown-upholstered seat matches the warm carpet tones almost exactly. The entire consultation happened in Spanish at the request of the family’s grandmother, who uses the lift most. Luis fitted the rail through the carpet-covered treads, specified the folding footrest and folding seat so the lift tucks flat when parked at the landing, and demonstrated every safety feature in Spanish before he left. The grandmother has been on the third floor every morning since December.

Platform Lift

Lockeland Springs Victorian — indoor wheelchair platform with yellow safety edges

Lockeland Springs, TN Installed October 2025

Mr. Lockwood uses a power wheelchair and could not transfer to a seated stairlift. His 1890s Lockeland Springs Victorian has an indoor stairway between the first-floor living area and the second-floor bedrooms with orange-toned plaster walls and a window halfway up. We installed an inclined wheelchair platform lift with a flat black anti-slip deck and yellow high-visibility safety edges on all sides. The platform folds flat against the wall when not in use so his teenage grandchildren still walk the stairs without squeezing past anything. Mr. Lockwood said it was the first time in three years he’d been to his own bedroom without his son’s help.

Common Questions

Everything Nashville Homeowners Actually Ask

Straight answers about cost, installation, and funding — no sales fluff. Browse by topic or call us if you have a question that isn't here.

What does a stairlift actually cost in Nashville right now?

Straight rails in standard Nashville homes — the two-story colonials in Green Hills, the craftsman bungalows in Belmont-Hillsboro, the tall-and-skinnies in East Nashville — run $2,800 to $5,500 installed. Curved rails, which you’ll need for most Donelson and Hermitage split-levels, Belle Meade estate staircases, and any home with a mid-landing turn, run $9,000 to $15,000 because the rail is manufactured to your exact staircase geometry. Outdoor and weather-sealed models for raised porches and front-entry steps run $4,000 to $7,500. Every quote is written, honored for 30 days, and includes installation, rail, seat, battery backup, and the first service visit.

Are prices different in Nashville than other Tennessee cities?

Equipment prices are the same across Tennessee — we don’t inflate quotes for Belle Meade or Green Hills addresses. What varies slightly is install labor for unusual conditions: historic home banister preservation in Germantown or Lockeland Springs, Metro Historic Zoning Commission paperwork windows for exterior-visible installs, and compensating rail mounts for settled treads in pre-1930s homes. We tell you the line items upfront. No surprise ‘Nashville premiums.’

Do you charge extra for Spanish-language or Kurdish-language service?

No. Every Nashville assessment can be conducted in Spanish at your request — Luis is bilingual and has walked dozens of families along Nolensville Pike through every line of the paperwork in their preferred language. For Kurdish-speaking families in South Nashville, we arrange a certified interpreter at no charge. Every printed quote, consent form, and operating manual is available in Spanish. Zero surcharge.

Any hidden fees for HOA or condo installs?

Our quote includes the HOA paperwork we handle for you. We’ve worked with new-build condo developments in Green Hills, the Gulch, and Bellevue, plus 55+ communities across Williamson and Sumner counties — the reasonable-accommodation letters are already templated. What can add cost (rarely) is when a board requires its own engineer’s letter or asks us to submit to a formal ARB committee. If that happens, we tell you before we start — not after.

A word from Luis

Most Nashville families call me after something has already happened — a fall on the narrow treads in a 1920s Belmont-Hillsboro craftsman, a parent who hasn’t slept upstairs since a hip replacement, a son calling from Chicago worried about his father alone in a Donelson split-level he built in 1967.

My job is simple: drive to your house within 24 hours, measure once, and give you a price that’s honored for 30 days. No pressure. No upsells. En español si lo prefiere — hablamos español en Nolensville Pike y en toda la ciudad.
