Bestseller

The workhorse of Moreno Valley's two-story tract homes — from Sunnymead Ranch to Towngate. Over 70% of stairlifts we install in Moreno Valley are straight-rail models. The rail bolts into your stair treads — never into the wall — the seat and footrest fold flat, and the battery backup keeps you moving through any Inland Empire power outage. We've measured Sunnymead Ranch tile-on-concrete, Towngate carpeted runs, and March ARB corridor narrow stairs. Most installs wrap in under four hours.

Stairlift Service Across Riverside County

Riverside County, CA

From the 1980s and 1990s two-story tract homes of Sunnymead Ranch and Moreno Valley Ranch — where tile-floored entryways with L-shaped staircases are the dominant layout — to the older ranches and split-levels of Edgemont south of the 60 Freeway, our team has mapped every staircase pattern in Moreno Valley. We know which Towngate floor plans have the tight L-turn at the landing, which March ARB corridor homes have the narrow 1950s military-housing stairs that require the compact rail, and which Sunnymead Ranch models have the straight 14-step run that makes installation straightforward. We staff a dedicated Inland Empire team — you never wait on a tech driving in from LA or San Diego.

Straight

Sunnymead Ranch two-story — straight rail mounted on tile treads with oak cap

Sunnymead Ranch, CA Installed March 2026

A 1992 Sunnymead Ranch two-story with tile-over-concrete treads and a decorative oak handrail cap. Mrs. Torres had been sleeping downstairs for five months after hip surgery. We drilled masonry-rated anchors through the tile, color-matched the rail finish to the oak cap, and installed in a single morning. The folding seat clears the iron spindles with three inches to spare. She rode upstairs that afternoon and hasn't come back down except to eat.

Towngate tract home — curved rail through 90° L-shaped landing turn

Towngate Area, CA Installed February 2026

A 1995 Towngate two-story with the standard Inland Empire L-shaped staircase — ten steps up, a 90° turn at the landing, then four more to the upper hallway. Mr. Jimenez is a March ARB retiree whose VA HISA grant through Loma Linda covered the full cost. We digitally scanned the staircase, fabricated a curved rail in ten days, and installed in one afternoon. The chair parks flush at the top and swivels for a safe step-off onto the upper hallway.

Edgemont 1970s split-level — straight rail in compact traditional stairway

Edgemont, CA Installed January 2026

A 1970s Edgemont split-level with stone-tile treads in a compact stairway — a wooden sideboard at the base and barely enough clearance for the original wrought-iron railing. Mr. Gallagher served 22 years in the Air Force and his knees remember every one. We mounted the straight rail along the stone treads, positioned the seat to fold flat against the wall so his wife can pass on the stairs, and left the hallway furniture untouched. The cottage-scale stairway fits the compact-profile rail without removing a thing.

Outdoor

Edgemont raised entry — sealed outdoor rail on stone-paved front porch

Edgemont, CA Installed December 2025

A 1970s split-level in Edgemont with a raised front entry and six concrete steps over natural stone paving. The south-facing porch hits 115°F by 2 PM in August and Mrs. Washington had stopped leaving the house during summer. We anchored the outdoor rail into the stone-paved entry steps, installed a weather-resistant cream seat with UV coating rated for Moreno Valley's heat extremes, and sealed the motor housing against Santa Ana wind dust. She walks to the mailbox again — in August.

Sunnymead Ranch — swivel-exit on carpeted upper stairs

Sunnymead Ranch, CA Installed November 2025

A 1994 Sunnymead Ranch two-story with 14 carpeted treads on the upper flight and a tight newel post at the bottom. Mrs. Contreras's primary concern was stepping off at the top — the hallway is narrow and her walker doesn't fit on the top step. We mounted the rail through the carpet into the tread substructure, matching the brown seat upholstery to the carpet tones. The swivel-exit seat rotates 90° at the upper landing so she steps directly onto the hallway carpet with her walker waiting.

Platform Lift

Edgemont split-level — indoor wheelchair platform lift for injured veteran

Edgemont, CA Installed October 2025

The Ramos family's son was injured during his third deployment and uses a power wheelchair. Their Edgemont split-level has five steps between the entry and the main floor. We installed an inclined wheelchair platform lift with a flat anti-slip deck, yellow high-visibility safety edges, and a white handrail along the indoor stairway. The VA HISA grant through Loma Linda and a supplemental SAH grant covered the entire cost. Sergeant Ramos enters his family's home independently for the first time since 2019.

Common Questions

Everything Moreno Valley Homeowners Actually Ask

Straight answers about cost, installation, and funding — no sales fluff. Browse by topic or call us if you have a question that isn't here.

What does a stairlift actually cost in Riverside County right now?

Straight rails in standard Moreno Valley homes — the Sunnymead Ranch two-stories, the Towngate tract homes, the March ARB corridor ranches — run $2,800 to $5,500 installed. Curved rails for L-shaped and U-shaped staircases run $9,000 to $15,000 because the rail is manufactured to your exact geometry. Outdoor models for raised entries and garage transitions run $4,000 to $7,500. Every quote is written, honored for 30 days, and includes installation, rail, seat, battery backup, and the first service visit.

Are prices different in Moreno Valley than Riverside or LA?

Equipment prices are the same across California — we don't adjust quotes by zip code. What varies slightly is install labor for unusual conditions: drilling through the thick tile-over-concrete treads common in 1990s tract homes, routing a curved rail around the decorative iron banisters in Sunnymead Ranch custom homes, or pulling a new electrical circuit in a 1960s Edgemont ranch. We detail every line item on the written quote.

Is there a discount for March ARB veterans?

The equipment price is the same, but your funding options are significantly better. The VA HISA grant through Loma Linda covers up to $6,800 for service-connected disabilities — that's the full cost of a standard straight install. We process more HISA applications from Moreno Valley than any other Riverside County city. We also prefill the SAH and SHA grant paperwork if you qualify for the higher-tier VA benefits.

Is financing available if I don't qualify for Medi-Cal or HISA?

Yes — three lending partners with 0% APR for qualified buyers and low fixed-rate plans from $79/month. Application is a soft credit pull (no hit to your score), takes about 4 minutes, and approval is usually instant. Many Moreno Valley families combine financing with the IRS medical deduction or a partial VA grant. We walk you through the math during the free assessment.

A word from Luis

Most Moreno Valley families call me after something has already happened — a slip on the tile stairs in a Sunnymead Ranch two-story, a March ARB retiree whose knees finally said enough, a daughter calling from San Diego worried about her parents in a Towngate home they've owned since the 1990s.

My job is simple: drive to your house within 24 hours, measure once, and give you a price that's honored for 30 days. No pressure. No upsells.
