Our Coverage Area

Stairlift Service Across Snohomish County

Snohomish County, WA

From Downtown Marysville — where 1910s–1940s Craftsman bungalows have the narrow stair widths and original fir treads that need a finish-matched rail — to Smokey Point, where 1990s–2000s two-story construction and the Navy Support Complex make it our highest-volume neighborhood. The 1970s–1980s split-levels in Cedarcrest and Sunnyside almost always have the mid-landing turn that requires a curved rail. Lakewood acreage homes have long exterior stair runs from driveway to raised entry. Jennings Park mixes postwar ramblers and new infill where stair widths change house to house. From our Marysville base we also cover Lake Stevens, Arlington, Tulalip, and Stanwood — your tech is never driving up from Seattle.

Smokey Point — straight rail on dark hardwood stairs for a retired Navy couple

Smokey Point, WA Installed March 2026

A 2004 two-story in Smokey Point with dark hardwood open-tread stairs and a warm-toned interior. Mr. Kessler spent 26 years in the Navy, finishing his career at the nearby Support Complex, and two knee surgeries at Naval Hospital Bremerton made the stairs the last part of the house that still felt like a ship ladder. We bolted a straight rail to the hardwood treads, parked the beige seat at the bottom landing, and walked both Kesslers through the remote. He said it was smoother than any elevator he rode in the fleet.

1976 Cedarcrest split-level — curved rail through a 90-degree landing turn

Cedarcrest, WA Installed February 2026

A 1976 split-level near Cedarcrest Golf Course with the textbook mid-landing turn. Two companies told Mrs. Lindquist she’d need two separate lifts. We laser-scanned the staircase, fabricated a single curved rail that bends around the half-wall at the upper landing, and parked the brown-upholstered seat at the top floor where she steps off onto the hallway. Her daughter drove up from Everett for install day and rode it first — just to make sure.

Downtown cottage — straight rail beside a sideboard on stone treads

Downtown, WA Installed January 2026

A traditional cottage-style home two blocks from Comeford Park with stone treads, a compact staircase, and a wooden sideboard with a potted plant at the bottom landing. Mrs. Matsumoto’s concern was whether the lift would crowd the narrow space near the furniture. We specified the slim-profile rail, seated the brown-upholstered chair at the base next to the sideboard, and kept clearance tight but comfortable. The compact footprint means nothing moved — the sideboard, the plant, the entry table all stayed exactly where they were.

Lakewood — outdoor porch lift through Puget Sound rain on stone paving

Lakewood, WA Installed December 2025

An acreage property in Lakewood with a raised front porch and stone-paved entry that gets slick every morning from the marine fog off Port Susan. Mr. Olsen had been using the garage side door for months to avoid the front steps. We installed a cream-colored weather-resistant seat on an outdoor rail anchored into the stone paving, with a keyed call station at the lower landing. The rail has run through an entire Snohomish County winter — rain, fog, one ice event — without a service call.

Sunnyside — carpet-matched straight rail for a home with a daytime caregiver

Sunnyside, WA Installed November 2025

A 1983 two-story in Sunnyside with carpeted stairs and a landing area where Mrs. Petrov’s daytime caregiver needed her moving between floors independently. We installed a straight rail on the carpet-covered treads, with a brown-upholstered seat that blends with the carpet tones and a folding footrest that tucks flush against the wall at the bottom so her grandchildren still run up and down. The caregiver said it was the first change that actually made her job easier, not harder.

Platform Lift

Jennings Park — indoor wheelchair platform lift for post-surgery recovery

Jennings Park, WA Installed October 2025

A newer home near Jennings Park where Mr. Brandt was recovering from a hip replacement at Providence Regional Medical Center Everett. His surgeon’s discharge orders specified no weight-bearing on stairs for six weeks, and he needed to remain in his wheelchair. We installed an inclined wheelchair platform lift on the indoor stairway — a flat black anti-slip platform with yellow high-visibility safety edges and a white handrail. Mr. Brandt rolled his wheelchair onto the platform and rode from the entry to his upstairs bedroom on the day he came home from the hospital, without transferring to a seat or putting weight through the surgical hip.

Common Questions

Everything Marysville Homeowners Actually Ask

Straight answers about cost, installation, and funding — no sales fluff. Browse by topic or call us if you have a question that isn't here.

What does a stairlift actually cost in Marysville right now?

Straight rails in standard Marysville homes — the two-stories in Smokey Point, the ramblers in Sunnyside, the newer construction east of I-5 — run $2,900 to $5,700 installed. Curved rails, which you’ll need for the 1970s and 1980s split-levels in Cedarcrest with mid-landing turns, run $9,200 to $15,500 because the rail is manufactured to your exact staircase geometry. Outdoor rails for hillside entries and raised Lakewood homes run $4,500 to $8,000 with marine-grade coating standard. Every quote is written, honored for 30 days, and includes installation, rail, seat, battery backup, and the first service visit.

Are Marysville prices different from Seattle or Everett?

Equipment prices are identical across Snohomish and King counties — we don’t inflate quotes for a downtown address or a Lakewood acreage property. What varies slightly is install labor for unusual conditions: 1970s split-level landing turns in Cedarcrest, long outdoor runs on Lakewood properties, and L&I electrical permit pulls when an older downtown home needs a dedicated 120V circuit. We list the line items upfront. No surprise premiums.

Do you charge extra for a bilingual consultation?

No. Every Marysville assessment can be conducted in Spanish at your request. Every printed quote, consent form, and operating manual is available in Spanish. For other languages — including Lushootseed or Sahaptin for Tulalip tribal elders — we bring in a phone interpreter at our cost, never yours. Zero surcharge.

Any hidden fees for HOA or new-construction community installs?

Our quote includes the HOA paperwork we handle for you. Marysville’s newer developments — the planned communities in Smokey Point North and east of I-5 — often have CC&Rs that require exterior modification pre-approval. Washington’s Reasonable Accommodation rules under RCW 49.60 generally require HOAs to approve accessibility equipment for disabled residents. We provide the documentation packet at no charge. If a board requires its own engineer’s letter, we tell you before we start — not after.

A word from Luis

Most Marysville families call me after a conversation, not a fall — a retired Navy couple at Smokey Point realizing the stairs aren't getting easier, a daughter in Seattle worried about her parents in a Cedarcrest rambler, a Tulalip tribal elder whose family wants her on the main floor but she wants her upstairs bedroom.

My job is simple: drive to your house within 24 hours, measure once, and give you a price that's honored for 30 days. No pressure. No upsells. En español si lo prefiere.
