Our Coverage Area

Stairlift Service Across Monmouth County

Monmouth County, NJ

Long Branch stairlift installs cover the full city. Elberon oceanfront mansions have three-story staircases and servants' wings that need curved rail. West End vintage colonials near Monmouth University keep original hardwood treads — we bolt through without splitting the wood. North Long Branch 1950s Cape Cods often run 30-32 inches wide, so compact chairs only. Branchport century Colonials with raised front porches frequently take an outdoor lift after post-Sandy rebuilds. Pier Village and Beachfront North condos at The Bluffs and Grand Resorts come with HOA notice requirements we handle pre-install. Along the Broadway corridor, 1940s carpeted Capes round out the typical job list.

Straight

Original Hardwood Preserved in West End Colonial

West End, NJ Installed February 2026

This 1923 colonial on Brighton Avenue had original oak treads the homeowners did not want drilled through carelessly. Luis bolt-mounted the straight rail with precision anchors that seat into the tread without splitting the wood. The beige seat parks at the bottom landing, tucked against the baseboard. The homeowners' upstairs trips no longer need a spotter on every step.

Gilded Age Curve in Elberon Mansion

Elberon, NJ Installed March 2026

This 1898 Elberon home has a grand staircase with a 90-degree turn at the upper landing under a period chandelier. Luis laser-measured 16 treads — the turn falls between treads 9 and 11. The brown leather seat parks discreetly at the second-floor landing, out of sightline from the foyer. The rail color was matched to the dark-stained banister to fit the period interior.

Compact Cape Cod in North Long Branch

North Long Branch, NJ Installed January 2026

This 1955 Cape Cod on a quiet block near the ocean has stone-faced treads and a wooden sideboard at the base. Luis cut the straight rail to 12 feet — exact to the staircase — and matched the brown seat to the warm woodwork. At just 30 inches wide, the staircase required the compact chair; it folds to 12 inches when parked, leaving room for the family dog to pass.

Post-Sandy Porch Entry in Branchport

Branchport, NJ Installed April 2026

This Branchport colonial has a raised front porch with six stone-paved steps — a common elevation in homes rebuilt after Sandy. Luis ran a marine-grade rail with IP55-rated motor housing. The cream-colored seat is weather-sealed with a waterproof cover, anchored into the stone with stainless bolts. The homeowner had been entering through the garage side door for two years — she now uses her own front door.

Carpeted Cape Cod Off the Broadway Corridor

Broadway corridor, NJ Installed December 2025

This 1940s Cape Cod on a residential block off Broadway has fully carpeted stairs leading to a small upper landing. Luis ran the straight rail along the wall side, bolted through the carpet and into the treads beneath. The brown seat blends with the neutral carpet tones so the lift stays unobtrusive from the living room. The install finished the week before Christmas — the homeowners' father made it upstairs for the holiday dinner.

Wheelchair Platform in Beachfront North Townhouse

Beachfront North, NJ Installed March 2026

This three-level townhouse at The Bluffs needed an indoor inclined platform lift for a wheelchair user who could not transfer to a seated stairlift. Luis ran the flat black deck with yellow safety edges along a straight 15-foot staircase from garage level to the main living floor. The platform folds against the wall when not in use.

Common Questions

Everything Long Branch Homeowners Actually Ask

Straight answers about cost, installation, and funding — no sales fluff. Browse by topic or call us if you have a question that isn't here.

What does a stairlift cost in Long Branch, NJ?

Straight stairlifts start at $2,800 installed. Curved lifts for Long Branch's older homes — the Victorians in Elberon, the vintage colonials in West End — start at $9,000 because the rail is custom-bent to your exact staircase. Outdoor lifts start at $4,000, and heavy-duty models at $5,050. Financing runs from $79/month. Every quote is firm and in writing — no add-ons after the fact.

Does the salt air in Long Branch make stairlifts more expensive?

The lift itself does not cost more, but we spec marine-grade rail coating on every Long Branch outdoor install and recommend it for indoor installs in oceanfront homes, especially Elberon and Beachfront North. The coating is an upgrade — roughly $300-400 — and it stops the pitting and corrosion that show up after two winters of salt humidity on untreated rails. Optional but strongly advised within a half-mile of the ocean.

Are there financing options for Long Branch residents?

Yes, financing starts at $79/month. We also walk you through the VA HISA grant if you are a veteran (up to $6,800 for service-connected, $2,000 otherwise), New Jersey's MLTSS program under NJ FamilyCare for residential modifications, and the state-funded JACC program for seniors 60+ who meet nursing-home-level clinical criteria. JACC covers stairlifts under its Environmental Accessibility Adaptations category.

Do Long Branch condo associations require approval for a stairlift?

Most do, including Grand Resorts and The Bluffs at Beachfront North and the Anchorage condos along the boardwalk. We provide the spec sheet and mounting details your HOA needs — the rail bolts to the treads, not the walls, so there is no structural impact to common areas. The Fair Housing Act requires associations to allow reasonable accessibility modifications. We handle the paperwork for you.

A word from Luis

Long Branch homes run the full range — 1880s Victorians in Elberon with three floors and servants' staircases that turn twice before the second landing, and a mile away an 1980s Beachfront North condo at The Bluffs where the stairs are the only way between the garage and the main living level. The ocean air is the common thread. I always spec the marine-grade rail coating here, even for indoor installs — I've seen what salt humidity does to untreated components after two winters. The Church of the Presidents up on Ocean Avenue has been standing since 1879, and a lot of the surrounding homes date to that era. Those curved installs are my specialty — I laser-measure every tread on site, and the rail comes back bent to match the exact turn radius.

The other thing about Long Branch is how many families rebuilt stronger after Sandy. A lot of rebuilt homes put the living space up a level — great for storm protection, tough when your knees give out. I put a straight rail into a raised ranch off Brighton Avenue last month; the homeowner had been sleeping on a pullout in the den for two years because the stairs to the bedroom level were too much. Three hours after we started, she walked up to her own bedroom for the first time since 2024. That's the job.

— Luis Ramírez, Long Branch
Your Next Step

Ready to get started? It's simple.

Long Branch has been a place people come to breathe since President Grant set up his Summer White House in an Elberon cottage in 1869. Seven presidents followed, and the city still draws families who want to age in place within sight of the Atlantic. Whether you are in a restored Victorian three blocks from the Church of the Presidents or a raised ranch near Seven Presidents Oceanfront Park, a stairlift keeps you in the home you chose.

Call Luis at the number above or fill out the form. He will come out to your home in Long Branch — West End, Elberon, North Long Branch, Branchport, Pier Village, wherever you are — measure your stairs, and give you a firm quote the same day. No pressure, no showroom runaround. Just a straight answer about what your stairs need and what it costs.
