Stairlift Service Across Manatee County

Manatee County, FL

Holmes Beach covers the center of Anna Maria Island, and nearly every home was built between 1950 and 1975 on pilings — adding a half-flight of entry stairs before the main floor. Seaside Gardens on 63rd Street has compact post-war duplexes with steep low-rise stairs. Key Royale, the bayside island in Holmes Beach, features 1960s-70s canal homes where dock-entry stairs plus interior steps combine to need a two-run straight system. Ilexhurst at the south city line holds 1950s cottages with narrow stair widths under 28 inches. Along Gulf Drive, full stilt homes run 18-22 feet of straight rail from parking slab to living floor. Anna Maria Beach subdivision covers gulf-side blocks now converting from vacation rental to primary residence, with salt-air marine-grade hardware on every outdoor install.

Common Questions

Everything Holmes Beach Homeowners Actually Ask

Straight answers about cost, installation, and funding — no sales fluff. Browse by topic or call us if you have a question that isn't here.

What does a stairlift cost in Holmes Beach?

Straight rails in Holmes Beach start at $2,800 installed. Most Gulf Drive stilt homes need 16-22 feet of straight rail — longer runs add cost proportionally but stay within the quoted price. Curved rails for Key Royale homes with 90° upper landings start at $9,000, custom-fabricated to your exact stair geometry. Written quote after a free in-home measurement; no obligation.

Is financing available for Holmes Beach residents?

Yes. We offer financing from $79/month with approved credit, no prepayment penalty. The longer rail runs common in Holmes Beach stilt homes can push costs toward the mid-$3,000s — splitting over 36-60 months keeps the monthly number manageable. We run the credit check during the in-home visit so you know before you decide.

Are there extra costs for installing on Anna Maria Island?

No travel surcharge or island fee. The written quote covers the rail, seat, labor, removal of any existing lift, electrical connection to a standard 110V outlet, and the 5-year warranty. Marine-grade hardware is standard on outdoor and porch installs — it's included in the outdoor lift price, not an add-on.

Can I get a phone estimate for my Holmes Beach stilt home?

We can give a range over the phone, but pilings change the rail-length calculation — a stilt home with a 20-foot interior run costs more to install than a slab-level 12-foot ranch. The free in-home measurement on Anna Maria Island is the only way to give you a firm number. We come to you; no charge.

A word from Luis

I've installed stairlifts in almost every corner of Holmes Beach — Gulf Drive stilt homes where the main living floor is 18 feet above the parking slab, Key Royale canal homes with 90° turns at the upper landing, Seaside Gardens duplexes with the narrowest stair widths on the island. Almost every home here was built between 1950 and 1975, and most of them have some variation of a piling-elevated entry that trips up owners who think they just need a standard straight rail.

The other thing nobody warns you about on Anna Maria Island: salt air. A standard indoor rail motor will corrode in 18 months if you're within two blocks of the Gulf. Every outdoor and porch install I do here gets marine-grade stainless hardware and an IP55-sealed motor. Same-week scheduling from Bradenton, no travel surcharge to the island. I measure, quote the same day, and we're typically running the lift within the week.

— Luis Ramírez, Holmes Beach
Your Next Step

Ready to get started? It's simple.

Holmes Beach is not a standard stairlift market. The 1960s pilings, the salt air off the Gulf, and the narrow stair widths in Ilexhurst and Seaside Gardens require a different spec from a Bradenton ranch. We measure every piling home before we quote, and we never recommend a standard indoor motor for a porch or entry install within a mile of the water.

Free in-home assessment on Anna Maria Island, written quote same day, installation typically within the week. If HISA or SMMC-LTC might offset the cost, we'll walk through the paperwork before you sign anything. Call or use the quote form to schedule your visit.
