Our Coverage Area

Stairlift Service Across Beaufort County

Beaufort County, SC

Hilton Head’s gated plantations dominate the install map. Sea Pines and Hilton Head Plantation account for most of our work, with stilted homes that need 14- to 18-foot straight rails from ground level to the main floor. Palmetto Dunes villas and Shipyard condos lean toward shorter rails on tile-covered concrete treads. Long Cove Club, Wexford, and Indigo Run homeowners often ask for curved units to follow the staircases in custom-built golf-front homes. Outside the gates, Port Royal Plantation and Forest Beach mix in older oceanfront cottages with narrow original treads. Across all of them, salt-air corrosion drives the spec choices: marine-grade rail finish, sealed switches, and IP55 outdoor units for porch and pool-deck installs.

Common Questions

Everything Hilton Head Island Homeowners Actually Ask

Straight answers about cost, installation, and funding — no sales fluff. Browse by topic or call us if you have a question that isn't here.

What does a stairlift cost in Hilton Head Island, SC?

A straight stairlift in Hilton Head starts at $2,800 installed. Curved units in custom Long Cove or Wexford homes run from $9,000 because each rail is laser-measured and built to your staircase. Outdoor lifts for Forest Beach pool decks or Sea Pines stilted-home porch runs start at $4,000 with marine-grade salt-air spec included.

Why do Hilton Head curved lifts cost more than mainland Beaufort?

Custom curved rail is the same factory price anywhere in South Carolina. The Hilton Head premium comes from gate access fees inside Sea Pines and Hilton Head Plantation, ARB-compliant rail finishes, and the salt-air-rated motor housing we install on every coastal job to protect the warranty.

Is financing available on Hilton Head Island?

Yes. We offer 0% APR financing from $79/month on approved credit, processed locally so you can sign at the kitchen table before the technician leaves. Most Hilton Head straight-rail installs are financeable at the lowest tier.

Are there hidden fees for installs inside Sea Pines or Palmetto Dunes?

No. Your written quote includes the gate-pass fee, ARB submission paperwork if needed, full install, removal of packaging, and 5-year parts warranty plus lifetime rail. The only adjustment is if your community requires a custom rail color, which adds the powder-coat charge on the final invoice.

A word from Luis

Hilton Head is two installs in one. Inside the gates of Sea Pines or Hilton Head Plantation you’re working in stilted homes built on pilings, with long straight runs from ground level up to the main living floor and ARB rules about anything visible from the street. Outside the gates, in Port Royal or Forest Beach, you’ve got slab-on-grade single-stories where the only stair is the porch step but the homeowner needs a weather-sealed outdoor unit because the salt air eats anything cheaper than IP55-rated electronics.

I price every Hilton Head install with the salt corrosion in mind. Marine-grade rail finish, sealed motor housing, and a service plan that includes a hurricane-season check before June 1. If your community has an architectural review board, send me your covenants before the site visit and I’ll pre-clear the install with the property manager so the rail color and mount points match what your board will approve.

Your Next Step

Ready to get started? It's simple.

Whether your home sits behind the Sea Pines circle or off Cordillo Parkway in Forest Beach, our Hilton Head Island team handles the salt-air realities of barrier-island stairlift work — marine-grade hardware, ARB-compliant install plans, and same-week scheduling from May through October so your lift is ready before hurricane season tightens the calendar.

Call to schedule a free in-home assessment. We’ll walk your stairs, photograph the run, pre-clear the install with your plantation’s architectural review board if needed, and put a hard quote in your hand the same day — no deposit, no obligation.
