Stairlift Service Across Allegheny County

Allegheny County, PA

We install stairlifts across all of Harrison Township and the surrounding Allegheny Valley communities. Natrona, the original riverside neighborhood, has steep narrow row houses with 8-inch treads — almost always a curved rail. Natrona Heights up on the hill brings post-WWII ranch and Cape homes with mostly straight runs but occasional foyer turns. Birdville and Ducktown have steel-era worker housing with tight 30-inch stairwells. Pughtown and Campton sections have a mix of mid-century homes with carpeted runs. We also serve Harrison Hills near the county park and the older Burtner-era farmhouses along Freeport Road.

Common Questions

Everything Harrison Homeowners Actually Ask

Straight answers about cost, installation, and funding — no sales fluff. Browse by topic or call us if you have a question that isn't here.

What does a stairlift cost in Harrison Township, PA?

A straight stairlift in Harrison Township starts at $2,800 installed. Curved rails — common in the Natrona row houses and the Burtner-era farmhouses — start at $9,000 because the rail is custom-built in our shop. Outdoor units for Birdville porch steps start at $4,000.

Are there hidden fees on a Harrison Township installation?

No. Our quotes include the laser survey, the rail, the seat, the install labor, the 5-year parts warranty, and the lifetime rail warranty. Allegheny County does not require a permit for a residential stairlift, so there is no permit fee.

Can I finance a stairlift in Natrona Heights?

Yes. Financing in Harrison Township starts at $79/month on approved credit through our lending partner. Most retired families on a steel-mill or ATI pension qualify in under 10 minutes.

Will a stairlift hurt my Harrison Township home's resale?

No. Stairlifts uninstall in 2 hours and leave only small filled holes in the treads. Realtors in Natrona Heights tell us the rail comes off before the open house, and the buyer never sees it.

A word from Luis

Harrison Township is really three towns stacked on a hill — Natrona at the river, Natrona Heights up the slope, and the older neighborhoods like Birdville and Ducktown that grew out of the steel mills. Every one has different stairs. The Natrona row houses have 28-inch-wide runs with 8-inch treads. The Heights ranch homes are wider but often have a turn off the front foyer. The Burtner-era farmhouses up by Harrison Hills Park have original wooden treads from the 1820s.

I tell every Harrison family the same thing: don't trust a Pittsburgh contractor who's never set foot in Natrona. The river fog and the freeze-thaw mean you need rails sealed for outdoor humidity even on the indoor units. We do the survey, build the rail, and install in one day. No subcontractors, no Pittsburgh markup.
