Stairlift Service Across Collin County

Collin County, TX

From the estate homes of Phillips Creek Ranch and Starwood — where grand entry staircases with wrought-iron railings and stone treads require careful anchor placement — to the production two-stories of Panther Creek and Stonebriar with standard carpeted straight runs, our team has mapped every staircase pattern in Frisco. We know which Legacy North floor plans have the L-shaped turn at the upper landing, which West Frisco new-builds have open-tread floating staircases needing special bracket mounting, and which Frisco Lakes 55+ homes need outdoor platform lifts for raised garage entries. We've been approved by HOAs in Panther Creek, Stonebriar, Phillips Creek Ranch, Newman Village, Starwood, Frisco Lakes, and Richwoods.

Panther Creek two-story — straight rail on dark oak open-tread stairs

Panther Creek, TX Installed March 2026

A 2006 Panther Creek two-story with dark hardwood oak treads and an open staircase design. Mr. Patel Sr. is 82 and the stairs between his ground-floor bedroom and the family living space upstairs were isolating him. We bolted the straight rail directly into the oak treads using countersunk fasteners, keeping the warm wood grain visible on either side. The beige seat folds flat against the rail at the bottom landing. He rode upstairs for dinner that same evening.

Starwood estate — custom curved rail past wrought-iron railing at upper landing

Starwood, TX Installed February 2026

A 2003 Starwood estate with a grand entry staircase — 18 stone treads and a sweeping 90° curve at the upper landing past a custom wrought-iron railing. Mrs. Richardson's mother had moved in after a stroke and couldn't navigate the stairs. We laser-scanned the curve, fabricated a rail that follows the arc precisely, and installed the chair so it parks at the upper landing in a nook behind the entry column — invisible from the front door. The ironwork was never touched.

Newman Village cottage — compact straight rail beside stone-tile treads

Newman Village, TX Installed January 2026

A Mediterranean-inspired Newman Village home with stone-tile treads and a compact stairway beside a wooden sideboard in the entry. Mrs. Kim's 78-year-old mother lives on the second floor and had been using the stairs on all fours after a knee replacement. We fitted the straight rail tight to the stone treads with specialty anchors, keeping clearance past the sideboard and a potted plant at the base. The folding seat and footrest tuck flat so the family can still pass on the narrow stair.

Frisco Lakes 55+ — outdoor rail on stone-paved garage-to-house entry

Frisco Lakes, TX Installed December 2025

A single-story Frisco Lakes home where the garage floor sits four steps below the house entry with natural stone paving at the threshold. Mr. Coleman uses a walker after back surgery and those four steps were the difference between driving himself to church and not leaving the house. We installed the outdoor rail with a weather-resistant cream seat, UV-coated hardware, and specialty stone anchors on the paved entry. The Del Webb HOA approved in three business days.

Stonebriar two-story — swivel-exit on carpeted stairs for safer step-off

Stonebriar, TX Installed November 2025

A 2008 Stonebriar two-story with 14 carpeted treads and a landing area at the top. Mrs. Nguyen's mother-in-law had been living with the family for two years and the stairs had become the bottleneck — she could go up but was afraid to come down. The brown upholstery matches the carpet tones so the lift blends in. The swivel-exit seat rotates 90° at the upper landing so she steps off onto the hallway floor with both feet level.

Platform Lift

West Frisco new-build — indoor wheelchair platform lift with safety edges

West Frisco, TX Installed October 2025

The Sharma family built a new home in West Frisco with an in-law suite on the ground floor, but the main living area is four steps up on a raised platform. Their father uses a power wheelchair and cannot transfer to a seated stairlift. We installed an inclined platform lift with a flat black anti-slip deck and yellow high-visibility safety edges along the indoor stairway. The fold-up platform tucks against the wall between uses. Mr. Sharma Sr. eats dinner with his grandchildren every night now.

Common Questions

Everything Frisco Homeowners Actually Ask

Straight answers about cost, installation, and funding — no sales fluff. Browse by topic or call us if you have a question that isn't here.

What does a stairlift actually cost in Collin County right now?

Straight rails in standard Frisco two-stories — Panther Creek, Stonebriar, Legacy North — run $2,800 to $5,500 installed. Curved rails for L-shaped staircases and custom estate entries in Phillips Creek Ranch or Starwood run $9,000 to $15,000 because the rail is manufactured to your exact geometry. Outdoor models for raised entries and Frisco Lakes garage transitions run $4,000 to $7,500. Every quote is written, honored for 30 days, and includes installation, rail, seat, battery backup, and the first service visit.

Are prices different in Frisco than other North Dallas suburbs?

Equipment prices are the same across the DFW metro — we don't inflate quotes for Starwood or Phillips Creek Ranch addresses. What varies is install complexity: threading a curved rail past wrought-iron spindles in an estate entry is more labor than bolting a straight rail on a Panther Creek production staircase. We detail every line item on the quote so you can see exactly where the cost goes.

Does the HOA approval add cost?

No — we handle the HOA submission at no charge. We've templated the Architectural Review Committee paperwork for 20+ Frisco communities and typically get approval in 5-10 business days. Federal fair housing law (the Fair Housing Act, 42 U.S.C. § 3604) prohibits HOAs from unreasonably refusing disability-related modifications, and the Texas Fair Housing Act (Texas Property Code Chapter 301) mirrors those protections at the state level. The approval is expected — the paperwork just has to be correct.

Is a used or refurbished stairlift worth considering?

For straight staircases, a certified refurbished unit can save 30-40% — we carry factory-reconditioned rails with new upholstery, new batteries, and a 2-year warranty. We replace the factory lubricant with our high-heat spec on every North Texas unit. For curved rails, refurbished is rarely available because the rail is custom-manufactured. Ask about refurbished inventory during the assessment.

A word from Luis

Most Frisco families call me because they're planning ahead — they bought a two-story in Panther Creek or Legacy North ten years ago when the kids were young, and now their parents have moved in or they're looking at their own knees and thinking about the next twenty years in this house. A few call after a fall. Those are harder conversations.

My job is simple: drive to your house within 24 hours, measure once, and give you a price that's honored for 30 days. No pressure. No upsells. No HOA surprises — I've worked with most of them already.
