Stairlift Service Across Denver County

Denver County, CO

From Capitol Hill Denver Squares to Wash Park bungalows, from the Victorian rowhouses of Curtis Park and Five Points to the mid-century modern ranches of Krisana Park, our team has mapped Denver block by block. We know which Park Hill foursquares have the original quarter-sawn oak staircase nobody will touch, which Mayfair and Hilltop 1950s brick ranches need a three-step outdoor lift from the garage into the kitchen, and which Stapleton/Central Park two-story tract homes are straight-rail territory. We work the Denver Square blocks of Congress Park, the Craftsman bungalows of Baker, the Victorians of Highland and LoHi, and the landmark blocks of Montclair, Country Club, and Humboldt Street where any exterior rail routes through Landmark Preservation Commission review. Because Denver has its own contractor licensing through Denver DSD, we staff Denver-licensed installers who never get pulled to Aurora or Lakewood jobs.

1908 Capitol Hill Denver Square — straight rail past the original oak newel

Capitol Hill, CO Installed March 2026

A 1908 Denver Square on Pennsylvania Street with the original two-story central entry stair and a carved quarter-sawn oak newel that Mrs. Whitcomb’s late husband refinished in 1987. She’s 84 and hadn’t been up to the second-floor bedroom since a cold snap in January. We fit a slim-profile straight rail into the softwood treads — not into the oak banister, not touching the newel — and the seat parks at the bottom of the dark hardwood stairs with the folding footrest clear of the entryway.

1887 Curtis Park Victorian — laser-scanned curve around the walnut balustrade

Curtis Park, CO Installed February 2026

An 1887 rowhouse inside the Curtis Park Historic District with a 90° turn at a mid-landing and the original walnut balustrade still intact. We laser-scanned the run on visit one, fabricated the curved rail around the balustrade, and installed in a single Saturday. The seat parks at the upper floor landing where the rail bends around the half-wall, and the rail runs below the dado line so nothing about the original millwork changed.

1958 Mayfair brick ranch — compact straight rail beside the hallway sideboard

Mayfair, CO Installed January 2026

A 1958 Mayfair brick ranch with stone-tile treads leading from the lower level to the kitchen. Mr. Pearson, 81, had slipped on those steps twice in December. We fit a compact straight rail along the wall, threading past the wooden sideboard and a potted plant at the base without rearranging any furniture. The traditional cottage feel of the home stayed intact — the seat folds flat at the bottom next to the cabinet, and the rail tucks neatly against the wall in the tight space.

Washington Park bungalow — weather-sealed lift on the stone-paved front porch

Washington Park, CO Installed December 2025

A 1916 Craftsman bungalow on South Gilpin Street with a raised front porch and rough natural stone paving at the entry. Abuela Elena needed to get from the sidewalk up to the front door safely in all weather. We anchored the outdoor rail through the stone-paved landing, installed a cream weather-resistant seat rated for Denver’s altitude UV and single-digit winter nights, and sealed every bracket against snowmelt. The entire consultation ran in Spanish with Luis. The unit handled its first full Denver winter — including a week of single-digit lows — without a service call.

1911 Park Hill Denver Square — straight rail on carpeted stairs preserving the oak banister

Park Hill, CO Installed November 2025

A 1911 Denver Square in South Park Hill with the original quarter-sawn oak banister and carpet-covered treads on the classic foursquare central entry stair. Dr. Abebe was recovering from a hip replacement at Rose Medical Center and the discharge planner needed a lift in place before home release. We bolted the straight rail through the carpeted treads, matched the seat upholstery to the brown carpet tones, and never touched a single spindle of the original oak. The seat parks at the landing where the tiled floor begins.

Platform Lift

Krisana Park mid-century — inclined wheelchair platform through the split-level landing

Krisana Park, CO Installed October 2025

A 1954 H.B. Wolff mid-century modern in Krisana Park with the original split-level configuration. Mrs. Lindquist uses a wheelchair and cannot transfer to a seated stairlift, so we installed an inclined wheelchair platform lift with a flat black anti-slip surface and yellow high-visibility safety edges along the indoor stairway. The white handrail mounts along the wall against the orange-toned interior. From the living room the platform folds flat against the stringer, preserving the mid-century sightlines the Krisana Park conservation overlay protects.

Common Questions

Everything Denver Homeowners Actually Ask

Straight answers about cost, installation, and funding — no sales fluff. Browse by topic or call us if you have a question that isn't here.

What does a stairlift actually cost in Denver right now?

Straight rails in a standard Denver Square or Wash Park bungalow run $3,000 to $5,800 installed. Curved rails — common in Curtis Park and Five Points Victorians, in Capitol Hill foursquares with the original newel, and in Park Hill bungalows with the mid-landing turn — run $9,500 to $15,500 because the rail is laser-scanned and manufactured to your exact staircase.

Are Denver prices higher than the suburbs?

Equipment prices are identical whether you’re in Cherry Creek or in Lakewood — we don’t mark up for Hilltop or LoDo addresses. What occasionally adds a line item is Denver-specific work: a dedicated 20-amp circuit in a 1920s Denver Square still running original knob-and-tube (requires a Denver electrical permit and a Colorado-licensed Master or Journeyman Electrician under the State Electrical Board at DORA), or a Landmark Preservation Commission submission for exterior-visible work.

Do you charge extra for Spanish-language service?

No. Luis is bilingual Spanish and runs every assessment in Westwood, Mar Lee, Athmar Park, and the South Federal corridor directly. Every printed quote, consent form, and operator manual is available in Spanish at no charge.

Any hidden fees for HOA, landmark, or historic-district homes?

The quote includes the paperwork we handle for you — HOA accommodation packets for Stapleton/Central Park, Lowry, and Green Valley Ranch, plus Landmark Preservation Commission submissions for Curtis Park, Five Points, Country Club, Humboldt Street, Wyman, and Montclair landmark addresses.

A word from Luis

Most Denver calls come after the first real cold snap. A retired teacher in a 1912 Capitol Hill Denver Square who hasn’t been upstairs to the bedroom floor since a December morning in the single digits. A widower in a 1958 Mayfair ranch who can’t manage the three concrete steps up from the garage into the kitchen when they’re glazed with ice. A daughter in Park Hill worried about the original oak staircase in her mother’s Denver bungalow — the one with the carved newel nobody is willing to drill into.

My job is simple: get to your Denver address inside 24 hours, measure once, and hold the price for 30 days.
