Stairlift Service Across Montgomery County

Montgomery County, TN

Sango and the Exit 11 corridor are dominated by post-2000 two-story homes with wide staircases and HOA architectural review. We keep reasonable-accommodation packets on file for the Sango, Farmington, and Rossview Road HOAs — most approvals return in 7–10 business days. St. Bethlehem west of I-24 has 1970s–1980s split-level ranches with mid-landing turns that require curved rails — our most common curved install in Montgomery County. Downtown Clarksville around the public square has 1920s–1930s bungalows with narrower staircases and original wood treads that need slim-profile rails and careful tread anchoring. Rossview northeast of town is the newest growth corridor — post-2015 subdivisions with modern code-compliant stairs where installs run under three hours. A growing share of Rossview residents are recently retired NCOs who settled after 20+ years at Fort Campbell.

2008 Sango subdivision — beige seat on dark hardwood stairs, installed before a PCS

Sango, TN Installed March 2026

A 2008 two-story in a Sango subdivision — SGM Thompson retired after 26 years at Fort Campbell and his wife needed the lift installed before their daughter’s family moved in. The dark hardwood treads and warm oak banister gave us a straightforward install: beige-seat rail along the inside wall, standard brackets, under three hours from arrival to walkthrough. The HOA approved the accommodation request in seven days.

90° landing turn in a 1978 St. Bethlehem split-level — one rail, one ride

St. Bethlehem, TN Installed February 2026

A 1978 split-level ranch in St. Bethlehem with the classic Middle Tennessee layout — five steps from the foyer, a 90° turn at the mid-landing, then seven more to the bedrooms. Mr. Baker served 22 years at Fort Campbell and his knees no longer handled the turn. We fabricated a single curved rail that carries from the foyer to the upper hall in one continuous ride and added a swivel-exit at the top. The brown-seat chair parks at the upper landing and swivels for a safe hallway exit.

1930s downtown bungalow — compact rail beside the original wooden sideboard

Downtown Clarksville, TN Installed January 2026

A 1934 bungalow near the public square with stone-tile treads, a narrow stairwell, and a built-in wooden sideboard at the base of the stairs. Mrs. Garrett was firm: nothing moves, nothing gets scratched. We mounted the brown-seat slim-profile rail along the opposite wall, ran the track past the sideboard with clearance to spare, and added a folding footrest. She’s kept that sideboard polished since 1972 — it hasn’t moved an inch.

Raised front entry on a Rossview home — outdoor seat lift over stone porch steps

Rossview, TN Installed December 2025

SFC Mendez was recovering from knee surgery after his third deployment and needed a safe way from the driveway to the front door. The Rossview home has a raised front entry with stone-paved exterior steps and a covered porch. We mounted a cream-seat outdoor stairlift with weather-sealed housing rated for Middle Tennessee’s humidity and summer storms, plus a keyed lockout at the bottom landing. His HISA grant through the Nashville VA covered the full cost. The lift has run through one full tornado season without a service call.

Exit 11 corridor two-story — carpeted stairs, swivel-exit, HISA-funded

Exit 11 Corridor, TN Installed November 2025

A 2012 two-story in the Exit 11 corridor with 13 carpeted treads and a landing that opens onto the upstairs hallway. Mrs. Wallace’s husband, a retired CSM from Fort Campbell, qualified for the HISA grant — we prefilled the paperwork and the Nashville VA approved it in five weeks. The brown-seat model with swivel-exit rotates at the top so he steps off onto the hallway floor, not the top step. Installed in under three hours.

Indoor wheelchair platform for a Sango split-entry — HISA-funded

Sango, TN Installed October 2025

The Jackson’s son was wounded in action at Fort Campbell and uses a power wheelchair. The Sango home has a split entry with four steps from the garage level to the main floor. We installed an inclined indoor platform lift with a flat black anti-slip deck, yellow high-visibility safety edges, and a white handrail along the indoor stairway wall. The full cost was covered by the HISA grant through the Nashville VA. The family hasn’t needed a single service call in six months.

Common Questions

Everything Clarksville Homeowners Actually Ask

Straight answers about cost, installation, and funding — no sales fluff. Browse by topic or call us if you have a question that isn't here.

What does a stairlift cost in Clarksville right now?

Straight rails in standard Clarksville homes — the two-story builds in Sango, the Rossview subdivisions, the St. Bethlehem ranches — run $2,800 to $5,500 installed. Curved rails for split-level landing turns in St. Bethlehem and older sections of town run $9,000 to $15,000. Outdoor models for raised entries run $4,000 to $7,500. Every quote is written, honored for 30 days, and includes installation, rail, seat, battery backup, and the first service visit.

Can the VA HISA grant cover the full cost?

For most straight-rail installs, yes. The HISA grant covers up to $6,800 for service-connected disabilities — enough for a standard straight rail with battery backup and installation. Curved rails typically exceed the grant amount, but the HISA still covers a significant portion. We prefill VA Form 10-0103 and coordinate with the Nashville VA HISA office. You don’t fill out a single form.

Is there a discount for active-duty families?

We don’t discount the equipment — the same price applies to everyone — but we do prioritize scheduling for active-duty and recently separated families who are on a PCS timeline or medical transition. If you need the install before a specific date, tell us on the first call and we’ll build the schedule around it.

Any hidden fees for HOA installs in Sango or Rossview?

Our quote includes the HOA paperwork — the reasonable-accommodation packet with physician medical-necessity letter. We’ve worked with the Sango, Farmington, and Rossview Road HOAs before. Most approve in 7–10 business days. No separate paperwork charge.

A word from Luis

Clarksville is a military city first and everything else second. Most families who call me are connected to Fort Campbell — an active-duty spouse managing a service-connected injury, a retired NCO whose knees gave out after 20 years of rucking, a veteran’s daughter who found the HISA grant paperwork too confusing to start on her own.

My job is simple: drive to your house within 24 hours, measure once, and give you a price that’s honored for 30 days. No pressure. No upsells. If you’re a veteran, I walk you through the VA paperwork the same day.
