Our Coverage Area

Stairlift Service Across Arapahoe County

Arapahoe County, CO

From the master-planned two-stories of Piney Creek — 1,850 homes built between 1980 and 1995, with 14-tread straight stair runs that install in under four hours — to the 1970s bi-levels and split-levels of Cherry Knolls and The Knolls, where mid-landing turns mean some families need a curved rail, our team has measured every staircase type in south Arapahoe County. We know which Willow Creek models have the compact stairwell requiring the slim-profile rail, which Fox Hill bi-levels have the carpeted basement-access run, and which Smoky Ridge layouts have the raised front entry that calls for an outdoor-rated unit. Because Centennial borders Greenwood Village, Highlands Ranch, Littleton, and Aurora, we cover those communities as part of our standard south metro service area. No travel fees anywhere inside the I-25/E-470 corridor.

Cherry Knolls ranch — beige seat on original dark oak treads

Cherry Knolls, CO Installed March 2026

Mrs. Kowalski had a partial knee replacement in January and her orthopedic surgeon at Sky Ridge Medical Center told her to avoid stairs for at least six weeks. Their 1983 Cherry Knolls ranch has dark hardwood oak stairs down to the finished basement — 14 treads with the original builder-grade oak banister still in place. We matched the beige seat to the warm oak tones, bolted the rail into the treads with backing plates for the original lumber, and parked the chair at the bottom landing where it practically disappears against the wall. She was riding it the same afternoon.

Curved

Piney Creek two-story — curved rail with 90-degree turn at the upper hallway

Piney Creek, CO Installed February 2026

Two other companies told the Tanakas they would need to remove the half-wall at the upper landing. We laser-scanned the staircase during the first visit, fabricated a curved rail that threads the 90-degree turn without touching the drywall or the chandelier above, and installed the brown seat so it parks flush at the upper hallway. Mrs. Tanaka swivels and steps onto the hardwood floor — not the top tread. The upscale interior stayed completely intact.

Willow Creek cottage — compact rail on stone treads beside the hallway sideboard

Willow Creek, CO Installed January 2026

The Bergströms' mother moved in after a fall at her own home in Littleton, and they needed the stairlift working before she arrived. Their compact Willow Creek cottage has stone-faced treads on the interior staircase, a wooden sideboard with a potted plant at the bottom, and a cozy traditional feel throughout. We drilled mounting brackets into the wood stringers beneath the stone, positioned the brown seat at the bottom landing next to the sideboard, and the whole install wrapped in four hours. The compact profile rail fits the narrow space without crowding the hallway.

Smoky Ridge front entry — weather-sealed cream seat on stone paving

Smoky Ridge, CO Installed December 2025

Mr. Henderson's raised front entry has rough natural stone paving and five porch steps that ice over every winter on the Front Range. After a hip replacement in 2019, the entry steps became the biggest barrier to leaving the house independently. We anchored the hot-dip galvanized rail into the stone with masonry anchors, installed the cream weather-resistant seat with a protective hood over the joystick, and fitted the freeze-thaw gasket kit standard for Colorado's 100+ annual freeze-thaw cycles. He rides it down to the driveway every morning — rain, snow, or sun.

Fox Hill bi-level — straight rail on carpeted stairs to upper bedrooms

Fox Hill, CO Installed November 2025

Mrs. Nguyen's mother had been sleeping on the living room couch for three weeks after a hip fracture because she could not get upstairs safely. The Fox Hill bi-level has 13 carpeted treads from the main level to the bedrooms, with brown carpet that matches the seat upholstery. We cut precise access holes at each bracket point, drilled into the stringer below, and tucked the carpet edges back. The brown seat parks at the upper landing near the wall-mounted light switches. Her daughter called on Monday morning; we measured Monday afternoon and installed Wednesday.

Platform Lift

The Knolls split-level — indoor wheelchair platform lift with yellow safety edges

The Knolls, CO Installed October 2025

Mr. Dawson uses a power wheelchair full-time after a stroke in 2023 and had been entering the house through the garage, rolling through the laundry room, and transferring to a manual chair just to reach the kitchen. We installed an inclined platform lift on the indoor stairway with a flat black anti-slip deck and yellow high-visibility safety edges on all sides. The platform folds against the orange-toned wall when not in use so his wife and visiting grandchildren can still use the stairs. The Rocky Mountain Regional VAMC processed his HISA grant in five weeks.

Common Questions

Everything Centennial Homeowners Actually Ask

Straight answers about cost, installation, and funding — no sales fluff. Browse by topic or call us if you have a question that isn't here.

What does a stairlift cost in Centennial right now?

Straight rails in standard Centennial homes — the bi-levels in Cherry Knolls, the two-stories in Piney Creek, the basement-access runs in Willow Creek — run $2,800 to $5,500 installed. Curved rails for split-level landings in The Knolls and Smoky Ridge run $9,000 to $15,000 because the rail is custom-fabricated to your exact staircase geometry. Outdoor models with freeze-thaw hardware for front entries and raised porches run $4,000 to $7,500. Every quote is written, honored for 30 days, and includes installation, rail, seat, battery backup, and the first service visit.

Why does altitude affect the price or the equipment?

Centennial sits at 5,800 feet. Sealed lead-acid batteries — the type that ships standard with most stairlifts — lose 15 to 25 percent of their rated capacity at altitude because the thinner air affects the chemical reaction inside the cells. We swap every Centennial install to a lithium cell at no upcharge. The lithium battery also handles the wider temperature swings on the Front Range — from single digits in January to 95 degrees in July — without the capacity loss you get from lead-acid.

Does the quote include HOA paperwork for my Centennial subdivision?

Yes. Centennial is almost entirely HOA-governed — Piney Creek, Willow Creek, Cherry Knolls, Smoky Ridge, Fox Hill, The Knolls, and dozens more. Federal Fair Housing Act requires HOAs to grant reasonable accommodations for residents with documented disabilities. We draft the accommodation request letter, attach the medical documentation, and submit it to your board. Most approvals take 1-2 weeks with our documentation.

Are there hidden fees for homes in south metro Denver versus Denver proper?

No. Equipment pricing is identical whether your home is in Centennial, Greenwood Village, Highlands Ranch, or downtown Denver. What can vary slightly is install labor for unusual conditions — compensating rail mounts for settled foundations in older homes, pulling a dedicated electrical circuit in a 1960s panel, or an outdoor anchor job on stone paving. We itemize every line on the written quote.

A word from Luis

Centennial families usually call me after the same story — a parent who moved into a Piney Creek or Cherry Knolls split-level in the 1980s when the kids were in elementary school, and now the stairs to the bedrooms feel like a different house. I drive out from Aurora within 24 hours, measure the staircase with a laser, and leave you with a written quote good for 30 days. No pressure. No upsells. If you qualify for the Colorado EBD Waiver or a VA HISA grant through the Rocky Mountain Regional VAMC, I'll tell you before we talk price.
