Stairlift Service Across Warren County

Warren County, KY

From College Hill’s 1910s craftsman bungalows with steep interior stairs and original quarter-sawn oak treads to the 1970s ranch split-levels of Eastland Park and Indian Hills east of the Bypass, our team has measured every staircase type in Warren County. We know which Briarwood colonials have the standard 13-tread straight run, which Delafield homes need the narrow-profile rail for 30-inch stair widths, and which properties along Scottsville Road have raised front porches requiring outdoor-rated equipment.

1972 Eastland Park ranch — straight rail on original hardwood treads

Eastland Park, KY Installed March 2026

A 1972 brick ranch in Eastland Park with 13 dark hardwood treads on an open-tread staircase. Mr. Douglas had both knees replaced at The Medical Center at Bowling Green and needed the lift for the second recovery. We bolted the straight rail to the right side of the stair treads, mounted the beige seat to park at the bottom landing in the unfolded position, and confirmed the warm wood tones of the oak treads were undamaged by the tread-mount hardware. Total time on site was three hours. He rode it from the entry to the upper hallway that same afternoon.

College Hill craftsman — curved rail around the upper landing turn

College Hill, KY Installed February 2026

A 1918 craftsman bungalow in the College Hill Historic District with a staircase that curves around a half-wall balustrade at the upper floor landing. Mrs. Hendricks had been sleeping on the sofa for three weeks after a fall on the polished hardwood treads. We laser-scanned the staircase on the first visit, fabricated a curved rail that bends cleanly around the turn, and parked the brown-upholstered seat at the upper landing so she steps off directly onto the hallway floor. The modern interior with framed art and chandelier above stayed exactly as it was.

Indian Hills split-level — straight rail in a compact traditional stairway

Indian Hills, KY Installed January 2026

A 1968 split-level in Indian Hills with stone-look tile treads and a compact stairway next to a wooden sideboard and potted plant in the lower hallway. Mrs. Carter’s mother had moved in after the 2021 tornado destroyed her home on the south side, and the narrow traditional staircase was her daily obstacle. We mounted the straight rail on the tile treads, positioned the brown-upholstered seat to park at the bottom near the hallway furniture, and the cozy cottage feel of the entry stayed intact. She rides it from the front entry to the bedroom level every morning.

South Bowling Green porch — outdoor stairlift on stone-paved entry steps

South Bowling Green, KY Installed December 2025

A 1950s frame house on Cemetery Road with a raised front porch and rough natural stone paving at the entry. Mrs. Stovall had been entering through the back door for months because the front porch steps were too steep after her stroke. We anchored the outdoor rail into the stone-paved landing with stainless hardware, mounted the weather-resistant cream seat with a carpeted outdoor tread at the bottom step, and sealed the motor housing against Kentucky’s summer humidity. She walked out her own front door on install day for the first time in eight months.

Briarwood colonial — straight rail on carpeted stairs with landing exit

Briarwood, KY Installed November 2025

A 1986 center-hall colonial in Briarwood with 14 carpeted treads and a landing area with tile flooring at the bottom. Mr. Patterson was scheduled for hip replacement at The Medical Center and his daughter in Louisville wanted the lift running before he came home. We mounted the straight rail on the carpet-covered treads, positioned the brown-upholstered seat to match the carpet tones, and installed wall-side controls at the landing. His daughter joined the first-ride walkthrough on FaceTime from Louisville. The wide staircase left room for his home health aide to walk alongside during the first week of PT.

Platform Lift

Delafield Victorian — indoor wheelchair platform lift for daily access

Delafield, KY Installed October 2025

A late-1800s Victorian in Delafield — one of the oldest residential blocks in Bowling Green. Mr. Muratovic’s mother uses a wheelchair and cannot transfer to a seated stairlift. We installed an inclined wheelchair platform lift in the indoor stairway with a flat black anti-slip deck, high-visibility yellow safety edges, and a white handrail. The orange-tinted walls and natural light from the stairway window made the installation blend into the home’s existing Victorian interior. His daughter translated the controls walkthrough into Bosnian for her grandmother.

Common Questions

Everything Bowling Green Homeowners Actually Ask

Straight answers about cost, installation, and funding — no sales fluff. Browse by topic or call us if you have a question that isn't here.

What does a stairlift cost in Bowling Green right now?

Straight rails in standard Bowling Green homes — the ranches in Eastland Park, the Briarwood colonials, the newer subdivisions along Scottsville Road — run $2,800 to $5,400 installed. Curved rails, which you’ll need for College Hill craftsman homes with half-landings and 1960s split-level ranches with the classic 90-degree landing turn, run $8,800 to $14,500 because the rail is manufactured to your exact staircase geometry. Outdoor lifts for raised front porches run $3,800 to $7,200. Every quote is written, honored for 30 days, and includes installation, rail, seat, battery backup, and the first service visit.

Is Bowling Green cheaper than Louisville or Lexington for a stairlift?

Equipment prices are identical statewide — we charge the same for a Bowling Green address as we do for a Cherokee Triangle brownstone in Louisville. Install labor can be slightly less in Bowling Green because postwar ranch homes and newer subdivisions generally have simpler staircase geometry than the Victorian and Edwardian homes in the Louisville and Lexington historic cores. We quote every line item upfront — no mileage surcharges, no regional markups.

My home was damaged in the 2021 tornado and partially rebuilt. Does that affect anything?

Tornado-rebuilt sections actually make interior installs easier. New code-compliant framing means level treads, plumb walls, and modern wiring — the rail bolts in cleaner than in a 1960s original. For homes that were repaired rather than fully rebuilt, we check the stair framing for storm damage during the first assessment and note anything that needs reinforcement before we mount the rail. We’ve installed in over a dozen tornado-affected homes across the south and east sides of the city.

How does the cost compare to alternatives like assisted living in Warren County?

A straight stairlift in Bowling Green runs $2,800 to $5,400 one time. A private room at an assisted living facility in Warren County averages $4,500 per month — over $54,000 per year. Moving to a single-story home means $50,000 or more in transaction costs. A stairlift keeps you in the neighborhood you know at a fraction of any alternative.

A word from Luis

Bowling Green families usually call me after one of two things: a fall on the stairs in a College Hill craftsman where the original hardwood treads are still bare and polished smooth from a hundred years of foot traffic, or an adult child in Nashville or Louisville who just learned their parent in a Briarwood ranch split-level hasn’t slept upstairs in a month.

My job is simple: drive to your house within 24 hours, measure once, and give you a written price honored for 30 days. No pressure. No upsells. If you or your parent is a veteran, I bring the HISA paperwork with me on the first visit.
