Our Coverage Area

Stairlift Service Across Dane County

Dane County, WI

We install across Verona's full range of housing. In Scenic Ridge and Cathedral Point, the newer two-story builds often have finished basements, so we frequently fit a second rail downstairs. Harmony Hills and Cross Country Heights hold post-2004 split-levels and colonials with mid-flight landings that need a curved rail. Kettle Creek ranches are single-story but have basement stairs homeowners forget about. Hawthorne Hills and Military Ridge sit on rolling terrain where exterior entry steps ice over each winter, so outdoor lifts are common. Near Main Street and Hometown Junction, the pre-1950 homes have narrow but solid oak treads we bolt straight into. We also serve nearby Fitchburg, Middleton, Oregon, and Madison.

Common Questions

Everything Verona Homeowners Actually Ask

Straight answers about cost, installation, and funding, no sales fluff. Browse by topic or call us if you have a question that isn't here.

What does a stairlift cost in Verona, Wisconsin?

A straight model begins at $2,800 installed. Curved lifts start around $9,000 depending on how many turns your staircase has. Outdoor units begin at $4,000 and heavy-duty models at $5,050. Every quote includes the in-home assessment, fabrication, installation, and a 5-year warranty with lifetime rail coverage.

Are there Dane County or Wisconsin programs that help pay for a stairlift?

Wisconsin has no statewide stairlift grant, but Dane County residents can use WisLoan, a low-interest WisTech loan for assistive technology and home modifications with no income limits. Medicaid members self-directing their care through IRIS can also use their budget toward a stairlift.

Does insurance cover stairlift installation in Verona?

Private health insurance rarely covers stairlifts directly. Wisconsin's Family Care and IRIS long-term care programs can cover adaptive aids for qualifying members. Service-connected veterans may receive up to $6,800 through the VA HISA grant, or $2,000 if non-service-connected.

Do you offer financing for a stairlift in Verona?

Yes. Financing starts at $79 per month through our lending partner, with no prepayment penalty and terms from 12 to 60 months. You can apply during the home assessment and most applicants get a same-day answer.

A word from Luis

I've installed stairlifts in Verona since this was still a quiet farm town of about 7,000 people. Epic's campus changed all that, and now I'm in two-story homes all over Scenic Ridge and Cathedral Point where older parents are moving in or visiting for months at a time.

The thing that catches Verona homeowners off guard is the basement staircase. A lot of the newer builds put the laundry down there, so you get a straight rail on the main stairs and then realize you need a second one for the basement. We quote both at the same visit, so there's no second trip charge.

For the older homes near Main Street built before 1950, the stairs run narrower, but those oak treads are solid. We bolt right into them, finish in about three hours with no drywall damage, and your mom is back upstairs the same afternoon. Call me direct at (800) 965-0350.

Your Next Step

Ready to get started? It's simple.

Verona grew from a farm town of about 7,000 in the 1960s into Dane County's fastest-growing suburb, anchored by Epic's campus. Even with that growth, it stays family-focused, with neighbors helping aging parents stay in the homes they love, whether that's a 1920s Main Street farmhouse, a Harmony Hills colonial, or a new Scenic Ridge build.

If stairs have become a daily worry for someone in your family, Luis will measure, quote the same day, and finish most straight installs in about three hours with no drywall damage. Call (800) 965-0350 for a free in-home assessment.
