Our Coverage Area

Stairlift Service Across Pinellas County

Pinellas County, FL

From the Mainlands communities east of US-19 — where 55+ condominiums and villas built in the 1960s and 1970s have internal staircases that no elevator was ever added to — to the postwar concrete-block ranches of Mainlands South and the denser townhouse rows near Park Boulevard, our team has measured staircases across every corner of Pinellas Park. We know which Skyview Park homes have the split-level entry that needs a compact-profile rail, which Bryan Dairy neighborhood homes have the narrow interior staircase, and which Gateway area duplexes have the exterior stair access that requires a weather-sealed outdoor lift.

Mainlands 1968 villa — straight rail preserving original terrazzo landing

Mainlands, FL Installed March 2026

A 1968 Mainlands villa with 12 carpeted treads descending to a terrazzo landing at the base, dark hardwood-stained open risers on the right side. We bolted the straight rail into the treads, parked the beige seat at the bottom landing next to the terrazzo floor, and had Mrs. Kowalski riding to her bedroom the same afternoon. Her physician at Bay Pines had already written the medical necessity letter for her HISA grant application. The VA approved within ten days. She paid almost nothing out of pocket.

Park Boulevard two-story — curved rail with 90° turn at upper landing

Park Boulevard, FL Installed February 2026

A two-story from the mid-1980s near Park Boulevard with a quarter-turn landing that a straight rail couldn’t navigate. We laser-scanned the staircase on the first visit and custom-fabricated a curved rail that bends around the half-wall at the upper landing, depositing Mrs. Fontaine on the hallway floor — not the top step. The brown-upholstered seat parks at the upper floor with the chandelier above and framed art on the wall. She has significant balance issues from her stroke two years prior, and stepping off at the top was the exact scenario her neurologist at Bayfront Health had flagged as high risk. The swivel-exit seat resolved it.

Mainlands South 1960s block home — compact straight rail beside hallway sideboard

Mainlands South, FL Installed January 2026

A 1960s concrete-block home in the southern Mainlands area with 11 stone-tiled treads and a wooden sideboard with a potted plant at the base of the stairs. The space was compact, so we fitted the slim-profile rail that tucks close to the wall. Mr. Petersen, 88, lives alone. His daughter in Georgia joined the entire consultation by FaceTime, watching the measurements and asking questions in real time. The brown-upholstered seat parks at the bottom next to the sideboard without blocking the hallway. Installed before the week was out.

Skyview Park raised porch — weather-sealed outdoor lift on stone-paved entry

Skyview Park, FL Installed December 2025

A Skyview Park home with a raised front porch and rough natural stone paving at the entry. Mrs. Albright, 78, had stopped using the front door entirely because the porch steps were the obstacle. We anchored a weather-sealed outdoor rail with a cream seat into the stone-paved entry, added hurricane tie-down straps, and sealed the motor housing to IP54 for the Gulf Coast humidity. She rides from the driveway to her covered porch in one continuous run, stepping off at her front door. Natural daylight from above keeps the entry bright and safe.

Bryan Dairy 1955 block home — straight rail on carpeted stairs matching carpet tones

Bryan Dairy, FL Installed November 2025

A 1955 block home near Bryan Dairy Road with carpeted stairs and a landing area at the turn. The brown-upholstered seat matches the carpet tones on the treads almost exactly. Mr. Espinoza’s VA physician at Bay Pines had documented medical necessity. We mounted the compact-profile rail with folding armrests through the carpet-covered treads, keeping the clear passage width above 22 inches so his home health aide could still assist from the side. The HISA grant covered the installation. Wall-mounted light switches stay accessible on the opposite wall.

Platform Lift

Gateway area home — indoor inclined wheelchair platform for full-time wheelchair user

Gateway, FL Installed October 2025

A Gateway area home where the Moreno family’s grandmother uses a motorized wheelchair after a lower-extremity amputation and cannot transfer to a seated stairlift. We installed an inclined wheelchair platform lift on the indoor stairway — a flat black anti-slip platform with yellow high-visibility safety edges and white handrails running along the orange-toned interior walls. The window beside the stairway provides natural light. She operates the call station at the lower landing independently, riding the platform between floors without any transfer or assistance required.

Common Questions

Everything Pinellas Park Homeowners Actually Ask

Straight answers about cost, installation, and funding — no sales fluff. Browse by topic or call us if you have a question that isn't here.

What does a stairlift cost in Pinellas Park right now?

Straight rails in a standard Pinellas Park home — the kind common in the Mainlands, Mainlands South, and Bryan Dairy neighborhoods — run $2,800 to $5,500 installed. If your staircase has a landing turn or a curved run (less common but present in some of the older Mainlands villas), the curved rail runs $9,000 to $15,000. Every quote is written, honored for 30 days, and includes installation, seat, battery backup, and the first service visit. No billing after install day.

Are there extra fees for the Mainlands HOA approval process?

No. We handle the Mainlands architectural review submission at no charge — we keep current templates on file for the Mainlands communities and have worked through their ARB process multiple times. What the HOA process does add is time: most Mainlands communities approve within 5 to 10 business days, some require a monthly board meeting cycle. We tell you the realistic timeline upfront so there are no surprises.

Does the $79/month financing require a high credit score?

No. We work with three lending partners who offer programs for a range of credit situations. The $79/month applies to qualified buyers on a straight rail at standard pricing. Application is a soft pull — no impact on your credit score — takes about four minutes, and approval is usually same-day. Many Pinellas Park families combine financing with a partial VA grant or a Medicaid co-pay offset to bring the monthly payment down further. We walk through the math during the free assessment.

Do outdoor stairlifts cost more because of the Gulf Coast humidity?

Outdoor models — for raised porch entries or exterior stair access common in older Pinellas Park properties — run $4,000 to $7,500 installed. They include stainless-steel hardware rated for coastal humidity, a UV-treated rail cover, and an IP54-sealed motor housing. That’s the same spec we use for homes within 5 miles of Tampa Bay. The price reflects the materials, not a coastal surcharge.

A word from Luis

Pinellas Park is one of the most senior-dense communities in the Tampa Bay metro. Over 22% of the city is 65 or older — and a significant share of those homeowners are in Mainlands condos or 1960s block homes where a single staircase separates them from their bedroom, their bathroom, or their front door.

My job is direct: I come to your home within 24 hours, I measure the stairs with a laser, and I give you a written quote that’s honored for 30 days. Financing is available from $79/month. No surprises. No pressure.
