Our Coverage Area

Stairlift Service Across Tulsa County

Tulsa County, OK

We install stairlifts across every part of Owasso. Stone Canyon, the 3,000-acre planned community with luxury homes in Deer Run, Tanglewood, and The Coves, is where curved rails handle the sweeping staircases. Fairways at Bailey Ranch and Honey Creek at Bailey Ranch sit alongside the golf course; many homes here have split-level entries with half-flights that need a short straight rail. Elm Creek Estates and Ator Heights are dense with 1970s–1990s two-story builds where original oak treads take a straight rail cleanly. Brentwood Estates and Barrington have wider staircases from the early-2000s boom — both straight and curved installs are common. The Redbud District downtown has older single-story homes plus a growing number of two-story infill builds.

Straight

Elm Creek Estates — straight rail on original oak treads

Elm Creek Estates, OK Installed February 2026

The Pattersons' 1987 two-story has the original dark oak treads common throughout Elm Creek Estates, with the staircase running straight from the front entry to the second floor — 14 feet, no turns. Luis bolted the rail directly into the oak treads with five steel brackets, no wall contact. The cream seat parks at the bottom landing, folded up against the rail.

Stone Canyon — curved rail at the upper landing

The Coves at Stone Canyon, OK Installed March 2026

The Ellisons' custom home in The Coves at Stone Canyon has a wide staircase that makes a 90-degree left turn at the upper landing, under a chandelier. The curved rail was laser-measured on site, then bent to match the turn radius exactly. The brown leather seat parks at the top floor, out of the hallway, and the rail hugs the half-wall with no posts in the walkway.

Ator Heights — compact straight lift on tile treads

Ator Heights, OK Installed January 2026

This Ator Heights home from the late 1970s has a narrow staircase with stone-look tile treads and a wooden sideboard at the base. The staircase is only 34 inches wide, so Luis used the slim-rail straight model. The brown seat tucks beside the sideboard at the bottom landing. The rail bolts went through the tile into the sub-tread without cracking one — we pre-drill with a diamond bit.

Outdoor

Fairways at Bailey Ranch — outdoor porch lift

Fairways at Bailey Ranch, OK Installed April 2025

The Coopers' front porch in Fairways at Bailey Ranch has rough stone paving leading up six steps to the entry. Luis installed a weather-sealed outdoor stairlift on the right side of the steps, with marine-grade seat upholstery and an IP55-rated rail. The cream-colored seat blends with the stone. It's been through ice storms and a full Oklahoma summer — no rust, no motor issues, no fading.

Brentwood Estates — straight lift on carpeted stairs

Brentwood Estates, OK Installed November 2025

The Fosters' early-2000s home in Brentwood Estates has wall-to-wall beige carpet on the main staircase — the tight-nap carpet installed in nearly every Owasso subdivision from that decade. The brown upholstered seat matched the carpet tone perfectly. Luis bolted the rail through the carpet into the sub-treads. When it runs, the only sound is the soft hum of the DC motor.

Platform Lift

Barrington — indoor wheelchair platform lift

Barrington, OK Installed September 2025

The Wallaces' son uses a power wheelchair and couldn't reach the second floor of their Barrington home. Luis installed an inclined platform lift on the main staircase — flat black non-slip deck with yellow safety edges and a white handrail. The platform folds up when not in use, leaving the stairs passable. It handles 600 pounds on the same battery-backed DC motor as our seated lifts.

Common Questions

Everything Owasso Homeowners Actually Ask

Straight answers about cost, installation, and funding — no sales fluff. Browse by topic or call us if you have a question that isn't here.

What does a stairlift cost in Owasso?

A straight stairlift in Owasso starts at $2,800 installed. That's the full price — measurement, rail, carriage, seat, installation, and the first-year service check. Curved lifts start at $9,000 because each rail is custom-bent to your exact stair turn after a 1-hour laser measurement on site. Outdoor lifts for Owasso porch entries start at $4,000 with IP55 weather sealing. Heavy-duty lifts rated to 600 lb start at $5,050. We do not charge a separate trip fee for Owasso — we're here multiple times a week.

Are there any hidden fees with Owasso stairlift installation?

No. The price we quote at the in-home assessment is the price you pay. That covers the rail, carriage, seat, installation labor, demo of how to use it, and a 1-year service check. If your stairs need a custom rail (curved), the laser measurement is included. The only variable is if your home's electrical panel needs a dedicated outlet near the charging point — but in every Owasso home we've worked in, a standard nearby outlet has been fine.

How much is financing per month for a stairlift in Owasso?

Financing starts at $79/month. We offer terms through a third-party lender — the application takes about 10 minutes and you'll know the same day whether you're approved. Most Owasso families go with a 36-month or 60-month term. There's no prepayment penalty if you want to pay it off early.

Does Medicare cover stairlift costs in Owasso?

Medicare Parts A and B do not cover stairlifts — they classify them as home modifications, not durable medical equipment. However, Oklahoma's ADvantage Waiver Program through SoonerCare (Medicaid) can cover home modifications including stairlifts for eligible seniors and adults with physical disabilities who are at risk of nursing home placement. The assessment determines medical necessity and the amount approved. We help Owasso families work through that application.

A word from Luis

I've put in stairlifts all over Owasso — from the 1970s ranch homes in Elm Creek Estates to the custom builds in Stone Canyon. What I see here a lot are two-story homes built during the growth spurts of the '80s and '90s, when Owasso went from a few thousand people to what it is now. Those stairs are steep, and the treads are original oak in a lot of cases. A straight rail bolts right into them — three hours, no drywall repair.

The thing about Owasso is the weather. We got hit by that EF1 tornado in April 2025 that tore through homes along an 11-mile path. Every stairlift I install here comes with a 4Ah battery backup. When the power goes out during an ice storm or a spring tornado line, that lift still runs for about six hours. I've had customers on the north side near 116th tell me it was the only thing in their house that still worked after the storm knocked out their power for eight hours.

I also know the VA route well for Owasso veterans. The nearest full medical center is Jack C. Montgomery down in Muskogee, about 45 minutes southeast, but most vets I work with use the Ernest Childers clinic on South Mingo in Tulsa — that's 20 minutes. The HISA grant covers $6,800 for service-connected veterans toward a stairlift. I've walked a dozen Owasso families through that paperwork.

Your Next Step

Ready to get started? It's simple.

Owasso has changed a lot since it was a railroad turnaround with 300 people. Today it's nearly 40,000, with families in every neighborhood from Morrow Place to Quailbrook Estates. If your parent has lived here for decades — through the population booms, the school expansions, the 2025 tornado — the last thing they want is to leave because the stairs got hard.

Call Luis at the number above or fill out the form. He'll come out, measure your stairs, and give you a price that day. Most Owasso installs are done in a morning. Your mom sleeps in her own bed that night, in the same house she's been in since before Highway 169 had four lanes.
