Stairlift Service Across Miami-Dade County

Miami-Dade County, FL

Stairlift installations in Naranja span several distinct residential pockets. Naranja Park, a 115-home subdivision of single-story ranch homes, often has straight staircases with oak treads — quick, three-hour installs. Mandarin Lakes features newer two-story construction where curved rails handle mid-stair landing turns. Naranja Lakes condominiums, built in the 1970s, have compact stairwells suited to slim-rail straight lifts. Sunset Pointe, the 116-unit affordable housing community off SW 139th Court, has ground-floor units but some split-level layouts. Villages of Naranja on SW 268th Street and the Coral Town Park area round out the community with a mix of apartment stairs and single-family homes near the Redland agricultural edge.

Straight

Original Oak Treads, Straight Shot in Naranja Park

Naranja Park, FL Installed March 2026

The Delgados' 1972 ranch in Naranja Park has original dark oak treads — solid, polished, and straight. Luis bolted the rail directly into the treads in under three hours. No wall anchors, no drywall repair. The beige seat parks at the bottom landing and travels up to the second-floor hall. Mrs. Delgado, 78, now reaches her upstairs bedroom without help for the first time in two years.

90-Degree Curve at the Upper Landing in Mandarin Lakes

Mandarin Lakes, FL Installed February 2026

The Morenos' two-story home in Mandarin Lakes has a 90-degree turn at the upper landing — a single clean curve in an upscale modern interior with high ceilings and a chandelier above. Luis captured the geometry with the laser in about an hour. Two weeks later, the factory-bent custom rail arrived and went in during a single afternoon. The brown leather seat parks at the top landing — invisible from the downstairs hall.

Stone-Tile Treads, Compact Cottage Layout in Sunset Pointe

Sunset Pointe, FL Installed January 2026

The Taverniers' Sunset Pointe unit, built in 1971, has a compact straight staircase with light stone-look tile treads and a tight stairwell — older cottage feel. The slim-rail model fit the 31-inch width. Luis parked the brown seat at the base next to a wooden sideboard. Mr. Tavernier, recovering from hip surgery, was using the lift the same afternoon it went in.

Weather-Sealed Outdoor Lift on Naranja Lakes Stoop

Naranja Lakes, FL Installed April 2026

Mrs. Castillo's Naranja Lakes condo has a ground-level entry but a steep outdoor stoop — rough flagstone pavers, three uneven steps up, fully exposed to South Florida sun and Biscayne Bay salt air. Luis installed the IP55-rated outdoor straight lift with marine-grade fasteners and the cream seat. After three months through a wet spring and one tropical storm watch, no rust, no fade.

Common Questions

Everything Naranja Homeowners Actually Ask

Straight answers about cost, installation, and funding — no sales fluff. Browse by topic or call us if you have a question that isn't here.

How much does a stairlift cost in Naranja?

Straight stairlifts start at $2,800 installed. Curved lifts, which need custom rail fabrication, start at $9,000. Outdoor units run from $4,000, and heavy-duty models supporting up to 600 lb start at $5,050. All pricing includes the in-home assessment, mounting hardware, and a standard warranty. The quote you get at the assessment is the final number.

Are there extra costs for installation in older Naranja homes?

Most 1970s-era homes in Naranja — like those in Naranja Park or Sunset Pointe — have standard wood or tile stairs that need no structural prep. If your staircase has unusual tread depth or is narrower than 30 inches, we may recommend a slim-rail model, but the install labor is included in the quoted price. There is no upcharge for older construction.

What financing options are available in Naranja?

Financing starts at $79/month through our partner lender. There is no prepayment penalty, and the application takes about ten minutes. We also accept credit cards and personal checks. The price quoted at your in-home assessment is the final price — nothing added later.

Does Medicare cover stairlift costs in Naranja?

No. Original Medicare Parts A and B do not cover stairlifts — they classify them as durable medical equipment that Medicare explicitly excludes. However, Florida's SMMC-LTC Medicaid waiver and the VA HISA grant can cover the full cost for eligible Naranja residents. We walk you through both programs during the assessment.

A word from Luis

I have installed stairlifts from Cutler Bay down to Florida City, but Naranja is where I spend the most time. The housing stock here tells a story — 1970s ranch homes in Naranja Park with original oak treads, the compact condo stairwells in Naranja Lakes, the newer two-story builds in Mandarin Lakes. Each one needs a slightly different approach, and after 15 years, I know what works in each neighborhood before I even walk through the door.

What people in Naranja deal with that folks further north do not is the humidity and the salt air — it drifts up from Biscayne Bay. Outdoor lifts here take a beating if they are not sealed right. I only use the IP55-rated outdoor models with marine-grade fasteners. For indoor installs, the bigger thing is hurricane season. Every lift we install has a battery backup that runs for about 6 hours after the power cuts — enough for a typical South Florida outage.

The Redland side of Naranja, near the nurseries, has some older farmhouse-style homes with odd stair configurations. I measured one last year that had three different rise heights on the same flight. The curved rail handled it. That is the kind of thing you only figure out by being local — not by reading a spec sheet over the phone.

— Luis Ramírez, Naranja
Your Next Step

Ready to get started? It's simple.

Naranja sits at a crossroads — geographically between Princeton and Homestead, and historically between its agricultural past and its suburban present. The orange groves that gave the community its name are mostly gone now, replaced by subdivisions and condos, but the families who live here stay. Many homes have been in the same family for 30 or 40 years, and as those homeowners age, the stairs become the thing that threatens their ability to stay.

A stairlift removes that obstacle in one morning. Call us at the number above or fill out the form for a free in-home assessment. Luis comes to your door, measures your stairs, and gives you a firm quote before he leaves. No pressure, no follow-up calls unless you ask for them. Just a real number and a real timeline from someone who has done this hundreds of times in Naranja.
