Our Coverage Area

Stairlift Service Across Henderson County

Henderson County, NC

We cover all of Flat Rock and surrounding Henderson County. In the Historic District, the 1830s summer estates near the Flat Rock Playhouse keep their original curved staircases, so most need a custom curved rail. Kenmure and Cummings Cove are gated golf communities built since 1987 with wider modern stairs that suit straight lifts. Highland Lake homes run 1990s–2010s construction, while Teneriffe and Saddlebrook have split-levels and short interior runs. East Flat Rock holds mid-century ranches with raised entries where outdoor lifts solve the porch steps. We also serve Hendersonville, Asheville, and Black Mountain.

Common Questions

Everything Flat Rock Homeowners Actually Ask

Straight answers about cost, installation, and funding, no sales fluff. Browse by topic or call us if you have a question that isn't here.

What does a stairlift cost in Flat Rock, NC?

Straight models begin around $2,800 installed, curved custom lifts around $9,000, outdoor weatherproof models around $4,000, and heavy-duty 600 lb-rated lifts around $5,050. Every quote covers the in-home assessment, installation, and a full controls walkthrough with no hidden fees.

Are there extra travel or service-call fees in Flat Rock?

No. Flat Rock and the rest of Henderson County are inside our core service area, so there are no travel or mileage charges for assessments, installs, or warranty visits. The price we quote at your in-home assessment is the price you pay.

How do straight and curved stairlift prices compare here?

Straight rails are standard-length cuts starting around $2,800. Curved rails are custom-fabricated to match your exact turns, so they start around $9,000. The Historic District's estate staircases almost always need a curved lift to preserve the original architecture.

Is financing available for Flat Rock homeowners?

Yes. Financing starts at $79/month through third-party lenders with 0% and low-APR plans, a soft credit pull, and no prepayment penalty. Many Flat Rock families combine financing with a VA or Medicaid application during the in-home assessment.

A word from Luis

Flat Rock gives me two completely different staircases to work with. The Historic District homes off Greenville Highway and Rutledge Drive — those 1830s-to-1890s summer estates near the Carl Sandburg Home — have narrow central stairs with tight curves and original woodwork I won't drill into. I laser-measure on site and bend a custom rail that bolts to the treads, so the balusters stay untouched.

Then you've got Kenmure and Highland Lake, where the stairs are wider and a clean straight rail goes in within a morning. Up here at 2,200 feet the winters bring real ice, so I weather-seal every outdoor porch lift. After 15 years in this village, I can tell you each house has its own geometry.
