Stairlift Service Across Camden County

Camden County, NJ

Echelon sits inside Voorhees Township in Camden County, a Philadelphia suburb on the PATCO side of the river. The housing mix matters for stairlift planning. Echelon Glen and the condos off Laurel Oak Road are compact two-bedroom townhomes with narrow 32–34 inch stair widths — straight rails only, and seat folds matter. Sturbridge Lakes and Partridge Run are 1980s colonials on wooded lots with standard 36-inch widths but frequent 90-degree turns at the upper landing, which pushes them into curved-rail territory. Centennial Mill is a 55+ community where the homes were designed with future accessibility in mind — stairs are straight and consistently pitched. Alluvium Woods and Lakes at Alluvium have larger center-hall colonials where we often fit a curved rail around a split landing.

Common Questions

Everything Echelon Homeowners Actually Ask

Straight answers about cost, installation, and funding — no sales fluff. Browse by topic or call us if you have a question that isn't here.

What does a straight stairlift cost in Echelon, NJ?

A straight rail installed in Echelon typically runs from $2,800 for a standard 13–14 step staircase. Most Echelon Glen townhomes and Centennial Mill 55+ ranches fit this baseline. Add $200–400 if you need a power swivel seat or extended rail past the top landing.

How much does a curved stairlift cost for a Voorhees Township colonial?

Curved rails start at $9,000 because every rail is custom-bent to your specific landing geometry. A typical Sturbridge Lakes or Lakes at Alluvium install with one 90-degree turn lands between $10,500 and $13,000, including measure, fabrication, and installation.

Are there hidden fees on a stairlift quote in Echelon?

Our Echelon quote includes measure, rail, seat, installation, tax, and a 5-year parts warranty. The items some competitors leave off are extended rails past the top nosing, power swivel seats, and battery replacements at year 4. Ask for those line items before you sign.

What's the financing payment for a stairlift in Echelon?

Financing starts at $79/month for a straight rail on our 36-month 0% promotional term, subject to credit approval. A curved install typically runs $180–$240/month on the same term.

A word from Luis

I've measured more staircases in Voorhees Township than I can count, and the Echelon CDP has a clear pattern: builder-grade colonials from the 1980s with 36-inch stair widths, winder landings in the original Echelon Glen condos, and tight 90-degree turns in Sturbridge Lakes two-stories. That geometry decides whether you need a straight rail or a curved unit — not the square footage.

My advice before you sign anything: pull one riser height with a tape measure and count your winder steps. If you're in Centennial Mill 55+ the stairs are almost always straight, 13–14 treads, and a $2,800 unit fits. If you're in a Lakes at Alluvium colonial with a turn at the top, budget for a curved system. I'll tell you on the phone which one you need before I drive out.

— Luis Ramírez, Echelon
Your Next Step

Ready to get started? It's simple.

Echelon isn't one housing stock — it's four: Echelon Glen condos, Sturbridge Lakes colonials, Centennial Mill 55+ ranches, and the Alluvium cluster. Each needs a different conversation about rail type, seat width, and power routing. We quote on a 24-hour turnaround and install inside two weeks for in-stock straight rails.

If you want a second opinion on a quote you already have, I'll read through it with you on the phone. No cost, no pressure, and if the quote is fair we'll tell you.
