Our Coverage Area

Stairlift Service Across Volusia County

Volusia County, FL

From the 1920s bungalows and 1950s concrete-block cottages in the Seabreeze Historic District — where salt air demands sealed motor housings and marine-grade fasteners — to the mid-century ranches in Ortona where concrete-block walls hold moisture year-round, our team knows every beachside floor plan. The South Atlantic Historic District requires preservation board review for exterior porch lifts on contributing structures. West of US-1, Pelican Bay and LPGA International run HOA architectural committees — we handle the Fair Housing accommodation paperwork. Indigo Lakes and Mosaic are newer master-planned communities where stucco-over-block construction wraps in three hours. Latitude Margaritaville — 3,900 homes for residents 55+ — generates steady calls for garage-entry and front-stoop lifts after hip replacements. We also cover Holly Hill, South Daytona, Ormond Beach, Port Orange, and Daytona Beach Shores with no travel surcharge.

Straight

Salt-rated straight rail in a 1948 Seabreeze bungalow — marine-grade on hardwood treads

Seabreeze Historic District, FL Installed March 2026

A 1948 concrete-block bungalow three blocks from the Atlantic in the Seabreeze Historic District. Mrs. Gallagher had a competitor's stairlift installed in 2023 and the motor housing showed visible rust within 14 months. We removed the corroded unit and fitted a new straight rail with sealed IP54 motor housing, marine-grade stainless fasteners, and UV-coated rail finish, bolted directly into the dark hardwood treads. The beige seat sits unfolded at the bottom of the open-tread stairs, ready for her morning ride. The warm indoor tones of the bungalow complement the cream upholstery. The new lift has run through a full hurricane season without a spot of corrosion.

Pelican Bay colonial — curved rail bending around the upper landing balustrade

Pelican Bay, FL Installed February 2026

A 2004 colonial overlooking the Pelican Bay Golf Club fairway with a curved staircase and a half-wall balustrade at the upper landing. Mr. Brennan had a stroke in December and his daughter flew in from Philadelphia to manage the recovery. We laser-scanned the staircase, fabricated a curved rail that bends around the 90° turn at the top, and parked the brown-upholstered seat at the upper floor landing where he steps off directly onto the bedroom hallway. The chandelier above and framed art on the wall frame the modern interior. The HOA accommodation packet was approved in four days. Mr. Brennan was riding it by lunchtime and his daughter flew home knowing he could reach his own bedroom.

Ortona cottage — compact straight rail beside the sideboard on stone treads

Ortona, FL Installed January 2026

A 1962 concrete-block cottage in Ortona with stone-topped treads, a wooden sideboard with a potted plant at the base of the stairs, and a compact traditional stairwell. Mr. Vasquez is a Korean War veteran whose living room furniture sits inches from the bottom of the staircase. The brown-upholstered seat folds flush so the narrow hallway stays clear, and the rail bolts directly into the stone treads with masonry anchors. The warm Mediterranean feel of the cottage — the cozy proportions, the traditional furnishings — made a slim-profile straight rail the right fit. His HISA grant through the Daytona Beach VA Clinic covered $6,800 of the cost.

Latitude Margaritaville — outdoor entry lift on stone-paved front stoop

Latitude Margaritaville, FL Installed December 2025

A single-story ranch in Latitude Margaritaville where three steps from the raised front stoop became impossible after Mrs. Dalton's hip replacement at AdventHealth Daytona Beach. We fitted the outdoor-rated cream seat on a short rail over the rough natural stone paving of the front entry, with weather-sealed motor housing and non-slip carpeted treads at the base. Natural daylight floods the covered porch above. The HOA accommodation packet was approved in three days — we had the Florida Fair Housing Act paperwork pre-filled before the first visit. Mrs. Dalton rides from the stone-paved walkway to her front door without touching a step.

LPGA International two-story — straight rail on carpeted stairs at the landing

LPGA International, FL Installed November 2025

A 2006 two-story in LPGA International where Mr. Mitchell was recovering from bilateral knee replacement at Halifax Health Medical Center and needed a reliable ride between floors. The carpeted stairs run from the tiled entry foyer up to a landing where the bedroom hallway begins. The brown-upholstered seat blends with the warm carpet tones, and wall-mounted light switches line the run. The rail bolts through the carpet into the treads beneath — no carpet removal, no disruption. The HOA submitted and approved in five days. His wife drove him home from Halifax Health that Friday and his first ride upstairs was in his own house.

Platform Lift

South Atlantic home — indoor wheelchair platform lift for a Navy veteran

South Atlantic, FL Installed October 2025

A 1955 concrete-block cottage in the South Atlantic neighborhood where Mr. Fitzgerald — a Navy veteran with a spinal cord injury — uses a power wheelchair and cannot transfer to a seated stairlift. We installed an inclined wheelchair platform lift with a flat black anti-slip platform, yellow high-visibility safety edges, and white handrails along the indoor stairway between the ground floor and the upper bedroom level. The orange-toned walls of the stairway and the window at the landing let in natural Florida light. Mr. Fitzgerald rolls onto the platform in his wheelchair and rides the full incline without transferring. His HISA grant through the Daytona Beach VA Clinic covered $6,800.

Common Questions

Everything Daytona Beach Homeowners Actually Ask

Straight answers about cost, installation, and funding — no sales fluff. Browse by topic or call us if you have a question that isn't here.

What does a stairlift actually cost in Daytona Beach right now?

Straight rails in a standard Daytona Beach home — Pelican Bay colonial, Indigo Lakes two-story, LPGA International townhome, mainland concrete-block ranch with a garage entry — run $2,800 to $5,500 installed. Curved rails for beachside homes with landing turns in the Seabreeze or South Atlantic historic districts run $9,000 to $15,000 because the rail is manufactured to your exact staircase geometry from a laser scan. Outdoor weather-sealed and salt-rated rails for raised front stoops and beachside porch entries run $4,000 to $7,500 with marine-grade fasteners included. Every quote is written, honored for 30 days, and includes the rail, seat, extended-discharge battery, installation, and the first service visit.

Do beachside installs cost more than mainland?

Equipment and labor are the same. What's different is the spec. Every beachside install — Seabreeze, Ortona, South Atlantic, Daytona Beach Shores, anything east of the Halifax River — ships with stainless-steel fasteners rated for saltwater exposure, sealed IP54 motor housing, and UV-coated rail finish. Those are baseline on every coastal job, not upgrades with a surcharge. What occasionally adds a line item is a new dedicated circuit in a pre-1960 beachside cottage where the original electrical service can't support the charger — that's a pass-through permit fee, usually $75 to $150.

Is there a surcharge for 55+ community installs?

No. Our quote includes the HOA accommodation paperwork we prepare and submit on your behalf. We've worked with the architectural review boards at Pelican Bay, LPGA International, Latitude Margaritaville, Indigo Lakes, and a dozen other Volusia County communities. Florida Statute 720.304(5) and the federal Fair Housing Act require HOAs to grant reasonable accommodation for residents with documented disabilities — we provide the physician medical-necessity letter template, pre-fill the accommodation request, and submit through the community manager. Zero charge for the paperwork.

My Latitude Margaritaville home is single-story. Why would I need a stairlift?

Three steps. The garage entry into the house, the raised front stoop, or the lanai elevation change — at least one of those runs exists in every Latitude Margaritaville floor plan we've measured. After a hip replacement, a knee surgery, or a balance-related fall, those three steps become the entire obstacle between you and the rest of your house. A short outdoor-rated rail on the garage entry or front stoop runs $3,200 to $4,500 installed and solves the problem in a single afternoon. It's our most common Latitude Margaritaville install.

A word from Luis

Daytona Beach splits into two conversations. The beachside call is a 1950s concrete-block bungalow in Seabreeze or Ortona where salt air has already corroded the first-floor handrail — the homeowner needs hardware that won't rust out in two seasons. The mainland call is a 55+ community — Pelican Bay, LPGA International, Latitude Margaritaville — where the HOA board wants a Fair Housing Act accommodation letter before we open the tailgate.

Both calls end the same way. I drive to your door within 24 hours, I measure once, and I hand you a written price honored for 30 days. Marine-grade fasteners on every install within five miles of the Atlantic. If your parent fell last week, if the three garage steps became impossible after a hip replacement, if you're calling from out of state because you can't be there in person — that's exactly why I'm here. No pressure, no upsells.

— Luis Ramírez, Daytona Beach
