About Summit County

County-wide stairlift service from Park City to the Kamas Valley

Summit County stretches from the Park City resort corridor and Snyderville Basin east over the Wasatch and Uinta foothills to Coalville, the county seat, and the ranching towns of the Weber and Kamas valleys. Multi-level mountain homes, walkout basements and split-entry cabins are the norm here, and altitude plus heavy winter snow make a reliable indoor or weather-rated outdoor lift a year-round necessity.

We cover the whole county as one service area — affluent ski-town homes and rural east-county ranches alike — with no travel fees to Coalville, Oakley or Wanship. We work with seniors aging in place, veterans and families, and we handle the funding paperwork so the cost question never stalls the install.

Frequently Asked

Summit County stairlift questions answered

Straight answers from a crew that installs across Summit County every week.

How much does a stairlift cost in Summit County?
A straight indoor stairlift starts at $2,800 installed. Curved lifts, custom-built to your staircase, start around $9,000. Weather-rated outdoor lifts — popular here for porches and decks that take heavy snow — start at $4,000, and heavy-duty models run about $5,050. We quote the exact price at a free in-home assessment, and financing is available from $79 per month. Pricing is the same whether you're in Park City or rural Coalville.
Do you really serve the small towns, not just Park City?
Yes. We cover every community in Summit County as one service area — Coalville, Henefer, Hoytsville and Wanship in the Weber Valley, plus Kamas, Oakley, Francis, Marion and Woodland in the Kamas Valley, and the whole Snyderville Basin. The same crew that installs in a Deer Valley home installs in an Oakley ranch house, with no difference in price or service.
What funding helps pay for a stairlift here?
Several programs apply. Utah's New Choices Waiver can cover home modifications including stairlifts for qualifying Medicaid members. Veterans may use the VA HISA grant, worth up to $6,800. Rural homeowners in east-county towns like Coalville and Henefer may qualify for a USDA Section 504 grant of up to $10,000 if they're 62 or older. We help document and quote the modification for whichever program fits, and offer financing from $79 per month if you pay privately.
Is there a travel fee for rural addresses?
No. We charge a flat, county-wide rate with no travel fees — whether you're in central Park City or up the Provo River canyon in Woodland. A home off the Mirror Lake Highway in Kamas pays the same install price as one near Kimball Junction. Mountain distance is our concern to manage, not an extra line on your quote.
How fast can you install?
Most straight stairlifts are installed within 48 hours of your assessment, often the same week. Straight lifts go in within a few hours and you can use them that day. Curved and outdoor lifts are custom-built to your staircase or porch, so those take a couple of weeks for fabrication. Winter weather in the high Wasatch can affect scheduling, and we plan around it so the work gets done safely.
How do we get started?
Call (800) 965-0350 to book a free in-home assessment anywhere in Summit County. We measure your staircase, talk through indoor, curved or outdoor options for your home and snow conditions, and give you a firm price with no obligation. If a funding program applies, we help you start that paperwork at the same visit.
