Our Coverage Area

Stairlift Service Across Brazos County

Brazos County, TX

Pebble Creek is College Station's largest master-planned community — 1990s–2010s two-stories with wide stairs and standard construction. Many retired A&M faculty live here. The HOA requires an architectural review submission; we provide the Texas Property Code Chapter 202 documentation at no charge.

Southwood Valley south of Texas Avenue has 1980s homes with 13–14 tread staircases, carpet or laminate, and occasional landing turns in larger floor plans. Long-tenured university employees who know what they want.

Emerald Forest on the west side has similar housing vintage with more tree cover — slightly cooler stairwells, but every Brazos County install still ships with heat-rated lubricant.

Bryan across Highway 6 has older, narrower staircases and split-level layouts from the 1950s–1970s. More STAR+PLUS and HISA-funded installs, and bilingual assessments available.

1994 Pebble Creek home — beige seat on dark hardwood stairs, three-hour install

Pebble Creek, TX Installed March 2026

A 1994 two-story in Pebble Creek — Dr. Harrison retired from the A&M College of Engineering in 2019 and his wife needed the lift after bilateral knee replacement at Baylor Scott & White in Temple. The dark hardwood treads and warm oak banister gave us a clean install: beige-seat rail along the inside wall, standard brackets, under three hours. The Pebble Creek HOA approved the accommodation in nine days.

90° landing in a Southwood Valley two-story — one rail, one ride

Southwood Valley, TX Installed February 2026

A 1988 two-story in Southwood Valley with a 90° turn at the upper landing — a floor plan the builder used across the entire subdivision. Mrs. Rodriguez's mother had been sleeping in the downstairs guest room for four months. We digitally scanned the staircase, fabricated a curved rail, and installed in a single afternoon. The brown-seat chair parks flush at the upper landing and swivels so abuela steps off onto the hallway. She slept in her own upstairs room that night.

1958 Bryan bungalow — compact rail beside the original wooden built-in

Bryan, TX Installed January 2026

A 1958 bungalow in Bryan with stone-tile treads, a narrow stairwell, and an original built-in wooden sideboard at the base of the stairs. Mrs. Washington has lived in the house since 1967 and was firm: nothing gets moved. We mounted the brown-seat slim-profile rail along the wall side, cleared the sideboard with two inches to spare, and added a folding footrest. She qualified for STAR+PLUS — the state paid the provider directly.

Raised front entry on an Emerald Forest home — heat-rated outdoor lift

Emerald Forest, TX Installed December 2025

A 1991 home in Emerald Forest with a raised front entry and stone-paved exterior steps. Mr. Mitchell is a retired Army colonel (class of '72, Corps of Cadets) who qualified for the HISA grant through the Bryan VA clinic. We mounted a cream-seat outdoor lift with UV-coated housing rated for Brazos Valley summers, a heat-rated motor, and a quick-release seat bracket for flood-season protection. His HISA grant covered the majority of the cost.

Emerald Forest two-story — carpeted stairs, swivel-exit at the top

Emerald Forest, TX Installed November 2025

A two-story in Emerald Forest with 14 carpeted treads and a tight newel at the bottom. Mrs. Kim's daughter is a veterinary professor at A&M who noticed her mother gripping the railing harder every visit. We installed the brown-seat model with a swivel-exit at the top so she steps off onto the hallway floor. Under three hours, start to finish.

Indoor wheelchair platform for a split-entry Bryan home

Bryan, TX Installed October 2025

The Garza's father uses a power wheelchair after a construction accident. The Bryan home has a split entry with five steps from the carport level to the main floor. We installed an inclined platform lift with yellow high-visibility safety edges, a fold-up deck when not in use, and a keyed call station at the lower landing. STAR+PLUS covered the full cost. The platform has run daily through one full Brazos Valley summer — heat, humidity, and all — without a service call.

Common Questions

Everything College Station Homeowners Actually Ask

Straight answers about cost, installation, and funding — no sales fluff. Browse by topic or call us if you have a question that isn't here.

What does a stairlift cost in College Station right now?

Straight rails in standard College Station homes — the two-stories in Pebble Creek, the Southwood Valley colonials, the Emerald Forest homes — run $2,800 to $5,500 installed. Curved rails for landing turns run $9,000 to $15,000. Outdoor models for raised entries run $4,000 to $7,500. Every quote is written, honored for 30 days, and includes installation, rail, seat, battery backup, and the first service visit.

Does the heat-rated lubricant cost extra?

No. Every Brazos Valley install ships with a heat-rated lubricant and a UV-stabilized seat upholstery as baseline spec. Standard factory lubricant thins above 115°F, which is a normal interior stairwell temperature in a sun-facing stucco home by mid-July. We've been speccing the upgrade as standard since 2019. It's built into the quote.

Will my Pebble Creek HOA add to the cost?

Our quote includes the HOA architectural review paperwork — the Texas Property Code Chapter 202 documentation packet with physician medical-necessity letter. Most College Station HOAs approve within 10-15 business days. No separate paperwork charge.

Do you charge extra for Spanish-language service?

No. Every assessment can be conducted in Spanish at your request. Every printed quote, consent form, and operating manual is available in Spanish. Zero surcharge. For the Bryan-College Station Hispanic community, it's how business should be done.

A word from Luis

College Station is a university town, but the stairlift call usually comes from a retired A&M professor, a long-tenured university staff member, or the adult child of a Bryan-area family whose parent has lived in the same house since before Kyle Field was expanded. The stairs were easy at 55. They're a negotiation at 78.

My job is simple: drive to your house within 24 hours, measure once, and give you a price that's honored for 30 days. No pressure. No upsells. En español si lo prefiere.
