Our Coverage Area

Stairlift Service Across Dallas County

Dallas County, TX

From the 1948 bungalows of Carrollton Heights — the historic district north of Belt Line Road where Craftsman, Mid-century Modern, and Ranch-style homes line the streets between Denton Drive and the Cotton Belt rail corridor — to the 1970s and 1980s two-stories of Country Place and Indian Creek, where nearly every home has the same 90-degree landing turn that requires a curved rail, our team has measured staircases in every Carrollton subdivision. We know which Castle Hills master-planned homes have the wide post-2005 stairs that install in three hours flat, which Prestonwood-area cottages have the stone-tile entry steps that need diamond-bit anchoring, and which Northside Place homes have multi-level layouts with wide modern staircases.

Carrollton Heights bungalow — straight rail on original oak treads

Carrollton Heights, TX Installed March 2026

A 1948 bungalow in the Carrollton Heights Historic District with original oak treads and a simple straight run of 13 steps from the living room to the upstairs bedrooms. Mrs. Nguyen had been sleeping on the couch for three weeks after a hip replacement at Medical City Plano because the stairs felt too risky. The rail bolts into the oak treads only — never into the wall, never into the original banister. Mrs. Nguyen tested the ride three times before we left, then rode it upstairs and slept in her own bed that night.

Country Place two-story — curved rail past the upper landing turn

Country Place, TX Installed February 2026

A 1982 two-story in Country Place with a 90-degree turn at the upper landing — the layout that builders put in thousands of north Dallas County homes between 1975 and 1990. Mr. Patel has advanced arthritis in both knees and was using the stairs once a day, gripping the wall, taking one step at a time. We laser-scanned the staircase, fabricated a curved rail that sweeps through the upper turn in a single continuous track, and added a swivel-exit seat so Mr. Patel steps off onto the hallway carpet instead of the top tread.

Prestonwood cottage — straight rail on stone-tile entry stairs

Prestonwood, TX Installed January 2026

A 1990s cottage-style home in the Prestonwood area with a stone-tile staircase from the sunken living room up to the main level — seven wide steps with a decorative wrought-iron railing. Mrs. Richardson’s mother moved in after a stroke and the stone treads were too slippery for her walker. We drilled pilot holes through the tile into the subfloor using a diamond-tipped masonry bit, set stainless steel anchors, and bolted the rail mounts flush. Zero cracks, zero chips. The chair folds flat against the wall when not in use.

Outdoor

Indian Creek ranch — outdoor lift on front entry stone paving

Indian Creek, TX Installed December 2025

A 1975 ranch in Indian Creek with a raised front entry — six exterior steps on stone paving between the driveway and the front door. Mr. Wallace is a retired Army NCO who served at Fort Cavazos and qualified for a $6,800 HISA grant through the VA North Texas Healthcare System in Dallas. The lift is IP55 weather-sealed against north Texas humidity, UV-coated for the brutal summer sun, and has a cover hood that sheds the spring hailstorms that roll through Dallas County every April.

Castle Hills master-planned home — straight rail on carpeted stairs

Castle Hills, TX Installed November 2025

A 2008 two-story in the Castle Hills master-planned community with a wide, carpeted staircase. Mrs. Kim had been diagnosed with MS the previous year and was losing confidence on the stairs, especially coming down in the morning when her legs were stiff. Her husband wanted the lift installed before Thanksgiving so their grandchildren could visit without anyone worrying. The rail mounts right through the carpet into the treads beneath — no carpet removal, no re-stretching, no mess. The folding seat and footrest tuck flat against the wall.

Platform Lift

Northside Place — indoor wheelchair platform lift with yellow safety edges

Northside Place, TX Installed October 2025

A home in Northside Place with a four-step rise between the garage-level entry and the main living area. Mr. Garza uses a power wheelchair after a spinal cord injury and the four steps were the only barrier between him and the rest of his own home. We installed an indoor vertical platform lift with high-visibility yellow safety edges on the platform and upper landing gate. The platform is flush with the floor at both levels, the gate interlocks prevent movement unless both gates are closed, and the whole unit runs on a standard 20-amp household circuit. Luis conducted the entire consultation and training in Spanish at the family’s request.

Common Questions

Everything Carrollton Homeowners Actually Ask

Straight answers about cost, installation, and funding — no sales fluff. Browse by topic or call us if you have a question that isn't here.

What does a stairlift cost in Carrollton right now?

Straight rails in standard Carrollton homes — the two-stories in Country Place, the ranches in Indian Creek, the newer builds in Castle Hills — run $2,800 to $5,500 installed. Curved rails for staircases with a 90-degree landing turn, which is extremely common in 1970s and 1980s north Dallas County construction, run $9,000 to $15,000 because the rail is manufactured to your exact staircase geometry. Outdoor models for raised front entries run $4,000 to $7,500. Every quote is written, honored for 30 days, and includes installation, rail, seat, battery backup, and the first service visit.

Are prices higher in Castle Hills or Prestonwood than in older Carrollton neighborhoods?

Equipment prices are identical across Carrollton — we don’t inflate quotes based on zip code or subdivision. What can vary slightly is install labor for unusual conditions: stone-tile treads in Prestonwood-area homes, foundation-settled rail mounts in older split-levels, or HOA architectural review paperwork in Castle Hills. We itemize every line on the written quote. No neighborhood surcharges.

Do you charge extra for Spanish-language service?

No. Every Carrollton assessment can be conducted in Spanish at your request — Luis is bilingual and has walked dozens of Dallas County families through the entire process in their preferred language. Every printed quote, consent form, and operating manual is available in Spanish. Zero surcharge.

Do you charge travel fees to come to Carrollton?

No travel fees anywhere in Dallas County. We cover Carrollton, Addison, Farmers Branch, Coppell, Lewisville, The Colony, Hebron, and every address in between at the same price. The quote you see is the quote you pay.

A word from Luis

Most Carrollton families call me after a fall scare on the split-level stairs in a 1970s Country Place ranch or a 1980s Indian Creek two-story — the kind of house where the original carpet is worn slick on the treads and nobody’s thought about the stairs until someone’s knee gives out on the landing.

My job is simple: drive to your house within 24 hours, measure once, and give you a price that’s honored for 30 days. No pressure. No upsells. En español si lo prefiere.
