Our Coverage Area

Stairlift Service Across Susquehanna County

Susquehanna County, PA

We cover all of Bridgewater Township and the Borough of Montrose it surrounds. In the Montrose Historic District, Greek Revival and Victorian homes along Lake Avenue and Spruce Street usually need curved rails for their landing turns. South Montrose and the SR 29 farm corridor are full of 1880s farmhouses with narrow, steep oak staircases suited to straight rails. Watrous Corner has compact stone-tread cottages, while Heart Lake mixes 1960s-80s ranch homes with lakeside cottages where outdoor porch lifts handle freeze-thaw winters. We also serve Tiffany, Williams Corner, and Fisk Mill, plus adjacent Franklin Forks.

Common Questions

Everything Bridgewater Homeowners Actually Ask

Straight answers about cost, installation, and funding — no sales fluff. Browse by topic or call us if you have a question that isn't here.

What does a stairlift cost in Bridgewater Township?

Straight-rail stairlifts begin at $2,800 installed. Curved rails, common in Montrose Historic District Victorians, begin at $9,000. Outdoor porch lifts start at $4,000, and heavy-duty models rated to 600 lb start at $5,050. Every quote includes in-home measurement, standard installation, a 5-year parts warranty, and a lifetime rail warranty.

Are there travel fees for installs around Bridgewater Township?

No. There are no travel fees anywhere in Bridgewater Township, whether you are on a paved street in Montrose or a gravel road out near Heart Lake or Tiffany. The quoted price is the final price, and the same applies to nearby towns like New Milford and Tunkhannock.

Does insurance cover stairlift costs in Susquehanna County?

Original Medicare does not cover stairlifts. Some Medicare Advantage plans include a home-modification benefit, so check your plan card. Long-term care policies may cover a lift with documented medical necessity. We provide itemized invoices with the codes you need to file a claim.

Can I finance a stairlift in Bridgewater Township?

Yes. Financing starts at $79/month, with 0%-interest options for qualified buyers and terms up to 60 months. Luis reviews the numbers at your free assessment, and there is no hard credit pull unless you decide to move forward.

A word from Luis

Bridgewater Township is mostly farm country wrapped around Montrose, and the housing tells two stories. Out by South Montrose, Watrous Corner, and the SR 29 corridor you get 1880s-to-1920s farmhouses with narrow center-hall staircases and original oak treads, so I bolt the rail into the treads and never touch the old plaster-and-lath walls.

The Montrose Historic District homes along Lake Avenue and Spruce Street are a different animal: wide Victorian staircases that turn at a landing, where a laser-measured curved rail is the right call. We also do plenty of weather-sealed outdoor lifts around Heart Lake and over toward Franklin Forks. Whether you are on a paved street in town or a gravel road near Tiffany, the travel costs you nothing.
