Three steps from call to written quote

1

Call or Request Online

Tell us about the staircase — straight, curved, outdoor, or not sure. We confirm your zip code and schedule a visit within 48 hours in most metros.

2

In-Home Assessment

A coordinator measures your staircase, checks the electrical setup, photographs the install path, and discusses the rider's weight, mobility, and daily routine. Takes 30 to 45 minutes.

3

Written Quote Delivered

You receive an itemized breakdown: equipment, custom rail, labor, safety testing, and rider training. One number. No hidden fees. Honored for 30 days.

What the free assessment covers

We coordinate stairlift installations — we do not sell a single brand or employ our own install crews. That independence is the point. Your assessment is run by someone whose only job is to figure out what your staircase actually needs.

  • Staircase measurement — rail length, angle, landing clearance, wall distance
  • Electrical check — outlet location, circuit capacity, any upgrades needed
  • Rider evaluation — weight, seated balance, which side of the stairs works best
  • Brand and model recommendation — based on your staircase geometry, not sales quotas
  • Funding options review — VA HISA, Medicaid waiver, state programs, IRS medical deduction eligibility

If a stairlift is not the right solution for your home, we will tell you that too.

Why families trust the process

30-day price hold

Your quote does not expire next week. Take it home, get a second opinion, compare side-by-side. The price holds for a full 30 days.

No deposit required

We do not collect money at the assessment. You approve the quote on your schedule, and payment is due only after installation is complete and tested.

$2M insured installers

Every installer in our network carries minimum $2M general liability, active state contractor licensing, workers' compensation, and manufacturer certification. Verified annually.

Written, not verbal

Your quote is itemized by equipment, rail, labor, and electrical. The number on the paper is the number you pay. No change orders on install day.

Common questions

Is the assessment really free?
Yes. No charge, no obligation, no assessment fee deducted from the total. A coordinator visits your home, measures the staircase, and leaves you with a written quote. If we are not the right fit, we will say so.
Who actually installs the stairlift?
A licensed, insured installer from our vetted network in your state. We coordinate the project — selecting the right brand, matching the right installer, and standing behind the result. Every installer carries $2M liability and manufacturer certification.
How quickly can you install after I approve?
Straight rail: typically 3 to 5 business days in metro areas. Curved rail: 10 to 14 business days because the rail is factory-fabricated to your staircase measurements. For urgent needs like hospital discharge, tell us — we prioritize emergency installs.
Do I have to decide during the visit?
No. The quote is good for 30 days. No same-day pressure. Compare it to other quotes, read our buyer's guide, call us with follow-up questions when you are ready.
Can you help with funding or payment programs?
We file Medicaid HCBS waiver applications, VA HISA grant paperwork, and IRS medical deduction documentation at no charge. About 30 percent of our installs involve third-party funding that covers part or all of the cost.
